USA - The half of it that hates Donald Trump as much as you do.

Eps. 1&2:

Now, THAT's what I'm talkin' about, baby...wow.
At last, a BL goes where its source material tells it to go, knows what it's doing, and doesn't puss-out on the heat or the kink.

Jeong Ri U has tremendous screen presence/charisma/sexual heat, plus he's a good actor.
I find his kind of looks even more attractive because his features aren't necessarily the most classically handsome. Yet he exudes sex in the way that the biggest stars do, and perfect looks have nothing to do with it.
I'm not surprised, as I saw him in at least two different Youtube short-length BLs and couldn't take my eyes off him.
It's nice to see him moving on to full-length shows like this.
It's also nice to see an actor like him, with such potential, totally commit to the guy/guy making out. Refreshing! And arousing! :)

Yoon Ji Sung isn't really my type, but goodness, his cheekbone-to-cheek-to-chin line is remarkably beautiful. I do portraits. I'm compelled to draw that face.

Finally, thank you to Wavve for releasing two episodes per week.
It's less painful to wait when you know you're going to get 50 minutes each time around.

Bravo, and looking forward to more.

Perhaps I'm confusing you with someone else, which is entirely possible as my brain occasionally farts. :D

Wow, I couldn't agree with you more about Ryan Murphy's work. I liked his Menendez Brothers series, but checked out of the Jeffrey Dahmer and the more recent Ed Ghein series after two episodes because the darkness (and I love dark themes) was dialed nearly to black in such a way that it was making me nauseous.

Did you see either of those?

In the case of Ed Ghein, when he dug up the dead woman's body, dressed her in panties, fishnets, red heels, etc., then the camera slowly panned up her corpse to her face, just as though she was alive, I reached my limit. I felt something along the lines of "this dude (Murphy) isn't trying to tell me this story in the most intense possible way, but the grossest possible way, and he's pushing buttons for button-pushing's sake." He seems to have no grasp of the fact that often, intense subject matter can be more powerfully conveyed by what we DON'T see but what is implied, rather than showing everything and everything in minute detail.

It wasn't that I felt he was eroticizing the grotesque, but that he was showing the grotesque in such surreal detail that it grossed me out, and not in a good way. I've always been a fan of shows that terrify me, most often with what I can't see but suspect is there, rather than smothering me in gore. I'm no fan of slasher/torture porn fort this reason, and I just don't like to watch people suffer for extended periods of time.

For me, advances in makeup and cgiAI, which can now make even the most hideous sights look absolutely real, factors into this also. While I adored much of Murphy's American Horror Story seasons, these latest efforts have turned me off.

So...you find this show to be exceptionally good?On edit: Never mind. I just saw that you found Therapy Game &…
Both halves of the MC have the faces and bodies of tall, lithe Lipstick Lesbians. "Lipstick Lesbians" is slang for gay women who present, act, dress, and wear makeup/hair much as most straight women do, including the use of lipstick. :)

I think sometimes it's inevitable for human to just want some fluff fun stuff to smile over without thinking too…
Your presuppositions are born of your inferiority complex, which is also a "thing," "dear." Just because you presuppose something doesn't mean your presupposition exists in reality.

My brain is never off, unlike yours, which, clearly, was once again in that setting when you left this latest reply.

I'll give my opinons on some of this. The sex in the car thing, they're just driving around aimlessly, having…
I disagree with all of that, of course, but that's cool.

Take care. :)

Oh, look, desperation.

As the arguments of the imaginary degrees/fangirl fujoshi/imaginary degrees shrivel and dwindle, she resorts to claiming thousands of hours studying at the imaginary university she attends, using brilliant, childish insults like "dumb," and checks my profile to find I'm an American, then shows her inferiority complex by slamming my country.

If any of the above had anything to do with this show or this discussion, I might respond.
But, I don't play stupid games, "girl."

Except, I never said I was better than anyone.
Apparently, your brain was turned off again as you read my comments.

Many actors choose not to use intimacy coordinators, and that is their prerogative.
In the reading I've done on this topic, it seems the actors who choose not to use them generally find their presence and input overbearing and counter-productive, impinging on spontaneity and creativity in the moment. It makes a difficult type of scene even more difficult. It is nigh impossible actors to find and maintain the intensity required for a sexual assault scene, for instance, if every touch, angle, and movement is choreographed and a potential source of conflict.

For many women actors, the choice depends on who the actor they're working opposite is.

I tried reading this manga, but the way it approached the subject of sexual assault and the inappropriate relationship…
I'm curious: What would be the "smarter" way to handle these topics?

Sounds like the film had a powerful effect on you. Your comments convinced me to watch this as soon as possible. Just because horrific acts are portrayed in a film, does not mean that adult audience members immediately run out and commit those same acts. Nor does it mean the film is condoning what it depicts. As your reaction and comments make clear, quite the opposite is true.

I've seen you in other threads complaining about this or that you were horribly upset and offended by. Perhaps you unconsciously, or consciously, I don't know, seek out what you claim to dislike.

this movie is horrible don't waste your time r*pe, unwanted sex, forced sex, violence against women all this is…
All these things happen IRL and are fair game for dramatization, as they have been in thousands of films. If you can't deal with it, don't watch.

Trauma porn, even though the creators of the film like to pretend it isn't. The subject matter wasn't handled…
No, we all DON'T know what went down. That's why we watch movies; to find out what "goes down" in them. Very often, the only way to drive home the horrific nature of a crime or other trauma is to SHOW the crime or trauma. If you can't handle it, it's on you to stop watching.

Oh gosh, I love all those shows.
I have seen Mood Indigo and The Novelist three times, and both are on my best gay-themed lists. The End of the World With You is on my best bl list. Also admire Given, though it hasn't made my "best" list." D Unique!

Someone's cranky.

And someone likes to throw around names of artists they've never read nor seen, in an effort to seem educated...or something.

Of course, standards-free fujoshis are "enjoying this stuff." Where did I say otherwise. That they, and you, like this stuff, is why Japan increasingly throws lame BLs our way; they know you'll eat it up, no matter what.

Is this REALLY a "rating app where people rate what they like?' Wow, I did not know that. Are you sure? Seriously? That never occurred to me. Thanks for clarifying...wow.

When did "the show" call a news conference and make all these fantastical "promises" you refer to? I missed that.

No, I don't, not EVER, like to "turn my brain off" when watching a drama or series. I prefer the shows I spend my valuable time watching, even comedies and light romances, to MAKE SENSE and be well-written and well-directed..

Lots of the blunders I've delineated in my comments are the result of sloppy, lazy writing and direction, which the director couldn't be bothered to fix. And almost all of them were fixable. His/her choice NOT to do so before releasing the show is a direct insult to the audience. "Here you go, here's a show for you to watch, but whatever. I could have tried harder, done better, but I don't give enough of a f*ck to present you with my best work." And you say, "OK, thanks! I don't have standards, and my brain is turned off, anyway, so it's all good!"

And as a result, we get more and more BL slop, rather than quality efforts, because the producers have no incentive to do their best possible work. Why should they? You'll squeal, giggle, and kick your little feet in fujoshi delight, regardless of what you see in front of you.

I've dropped a zillion shows, child, and you and your fangirl comrades aren't owed a standards-free comment section in which everyone agrees with YOU. People are free to post their negative perceptions as they please on MDL...at least, so far. Got that?

I made it clear early on that I thought the show had promise until somewhere in the third episode, at which time its quality began to decline. Perhaps you read that, but had your brain turned off, and thus don't recall. I had every reason to hope that decline might reverse itself. Just because it hasn't done so is not enough reason yet for me to check out.

To simplify, in case your brain is in the "off" position as you read this: The pain of watching this increasingly sloppy mess does not yet outweigh my desire to see what becomes of Hioki, who I find adorbs. Got it?
