Ummm...I have Masters Degree in Journalism. Respectable journalists do NOT write stupid, juvenile headlines pretending that the actors are doing things in the shows in which they play characters. I'll assume you know the difference, though apparently, you don't.

There are a hundred ways to lure readers with enticing headlines other than composing middle-school newspaper-type silliness.

Miss Lily also writes many garbage articles fomenting "scandals," about actors, using weasel words to cover her ass as she does so. Hi Truth. I speculated about the translation/subs also. After what she said about him liking to jerk off while looking at magazines with photos of naked women, it ended up sounding more like he simply prefers doing that to having actual sex with her. Apparently, that is how his sperm was obtained to artificially inseminate her at the hospital, as she said according to the subs I saw. Bizarre and fascinating. At first, it felt like she was coming on to our lead, but by the end of her quiet little rant, it didn't feel that way.

I admire this plot's willingness to explore dark issues going on in relationships that are usually concealed from others. We have no idea what is happening in the intimate areas of other people's relationships.

Little lily, who despite her earlier, vile, "bullying" article full of falsehoods, attacking Israel and every Jew on the planet; an article she used to spew Jew-hate openly, will survive just fine. Oh also, her writing is amateurish, often misleading and trashy; and rife with grammatical errors. She is definitely the worst "writer" at MDL.

Thanks to the above review, I will not waste my time on this. I did watch about five minutes of the first ep a few days ago, and decided to put it off til later, but it was already clear then it likely sucked.

I did NOT state or imply that ace and aro are the same thing. I am entirely clear on the difference. Nor did I write that aro people cannot experience sexual attraction. Nor did I write that repulsed ace people cannot or do not experience romantic attraction.

Other than good BLs and a few gay-themed shows, I am not a fan of Asian dramas. They seem to drag out stories that could be told in less than half the time, or even in a two-hour film. However, there are a few I enjoyed. Here is a link to my custom list of best mainstream dramas. I intended it to have 30 titles, but I've only made it to 10 so far because I don't watch enough of them to make the goal. :)

The hetero (not for long!) lead is not in a SEXUAL relationship with the "girlfriend." They don't even kiss. I don't recall seeing a hug except for the half-ass one she gave him from behind for the visual consumption of their friend group. She is the one who cut off sex without telling him why.

I agree it makes a great deal of sense to just get the hell out to simplify things and end the stress, but I don't see him as having any "moral" obligation to do so. Why would he?

Withholding sex is just as bad as having sex on the side. When you were "cheated" on, were you and your partner still having sex? If so, then I agree it was a despicable act on their part. If not, then where's the "cheating?"

Besides all this, who's to say what appears to be a physical encounter between our leads next ep won't come about spontaneously and unexpectedly? If so, what? He's supposed to say, "oh no, we can't do this. I have to discuss it with my "GF" first?" I don't think so...she ended their sexual relationship long ago. She hasn't asked him how he's holding up without getting off, etc. because she doesn't care. He owes her nothing.

This is what I'm talking about with "gray-area" thinking. If he was still pretending to love his GF and having sex with her and then slept with the other lead, that's pretty close to black/bad. Getting busy with someone else when they are not having sex and the romance is entirely stale...that's pretty damn white.

I don't care for the term "cheating" because it's judgey and puts all extra-relationship sexual relations in the same category when they most definitely are not. 90% of the time, MDLers use "cheating" in a moralistic, judgey, Church-Lady way that leaves no room for nuance or shades of gray. Which is why they use it: Black/white thinking is easy.

Neither lead has an obligation to keep their roommate informed as to what they're doing on the side. Does either of the roomies really have standing to feel "cheated" upon, given their behavior? Not to me.
