The rich and powerful don't go to prison in the U.S. "Everyone equal before the law" has always been BS but never so blatantly so as right now. That asshole was able to drag out all his court cases long enough to then get a pass when he won the election. I don't trust anything here anymore. You or I would have been in prison for shoplifting a loaf of bread. Trump foments an insurrection, rapes women, pays off porn stars, commits and is convicted of 34 felony business crimes, and he's POTUS. It is insane. So many of my relatives voted for him that I don't speak to any of them. I was beside myself for weeks after the election, to a degree that surprised me.
I am trying not to give him every one of my days upset about all the shit he's doing already, but he's doing so much shit that is not an easy task. He just broke the law again Friday in firing all those inspector generals at 17 different government agencies and he will get away with it. I'm sick of the Democrats too. Weak-ass; no back bone. It's always been that way.

Trump is indeed a douche bag. I loathe him and I certainly did not vote for him so don't blame me as he turns the world to shit. Over the last four years of my immersion in Asian cinema and BLs, I've come to see how profoundly everything that happens here is watched by and effects the rest of the world. I knew the U.S. was the most powerful and influential country but not to the degree it really is. Given how fucked up America is; fucked up enough to re-elect Trump, it's scary how much world-wide damage he will do over the next four years.

haha No, I'm not upset. "Actually" is the word people should be using in place of "literally" because the definition of "literally," does not fit the way young people use it. I'm older than dirt. I don't know why I haven't picked up "literally" though. It's been around 25 years, I'd guess. I definitely picked up "like," as in "so they, like, went to the grocery store." That's been a thing for about forty years. Wow. Also, I overuse "definitely."
