If what you wrote here is true; that sex matters not a whit to you and you could go without wanting it your entire life, then you are asexual. It's fine if you don't want to "put labels" on it, but here, I'll put one on it for you: Asexual, and that's OK.

I ended up watching the whole thing recently. I think I gave it an 8/10. There were many more parts I enjoyed than not. I liked that the characters/actors were young MEN, not 15-year-old idol trainees and that while all are handsome, they are very distinct from each other facially. The human face is fascinating in all its permutations.

I think he's gay, at least psychologically, based on how jealous he gets when Sei mentions his text interactions with Hagiwara and his conversations with the guy at work (before Sei knew they were the same person).

At that age, male humans think about sex almost non-stop (they have been doing so since puberty), and have semen running out of their ears. Hagiwara said as much in a refreshing remark in episode 2. He doesn't know just how normal his feelings are.

Female humans are, generally speaking, less horny than males but still not as "baffled" by sexual feelings as are you. Too bad. You'll miss out on all the fun.

You deliberately made up the quote, and put it in fake quotation marks, "but I can't give some sexual needs for you..." Quotation marks are used to repeat words that were actually spoken by a character or someone else, not to mislead readers into thinking someone said something they did not say.

Thing is, even if he is asexual or phobic, the human male body has sexual functions/needs that would express themselves regardless of whether or not he's having actual sex with another person. At the very least, he would be having frequent wet dreams which are the means by which the male body relieves itself of pent-up/built-up semen. And given a phobia for neatness and order, Kazuaki would find a wet dream "messy" indeed. :)

She gets off on denying him sex. Maybe controlling him that way and knowing she's inflicting frustration makes her feel powerful. She's a sadist. I hope we learn WHY she is a sadist, but perhaps that quality is simply built in from birth.

Even in Japan, would someone in Kazuaki's position really go a year without sex without demanding to know what the hell is going on? As far as I'm concerned, her cruel, repeated refusals of physical intimacy are absolutely permission to go find gratification elsewhere. Not everything has to be put into words, especially in a society like Japan, where people are so reticent to discuss intimate matters.

She has made her position very clear. I see him as having every right to have a full-time affair on the side if he so chooses. Not out of revenge or spite, nor sought in haste, but someone dependable, thoughtful, concerned for his feelings, etc. Finding that person would likely lead to the dissolution of the Kazuaki/Kaori relationship, but that would be a good thing. OR...things could just go on like that for years if all three people concerned were fine with it, even if Kazuaki/Kaori never discuss it.
