A significant portion of my comments are extended ones noting what I did and did not like about this or that show, usually with plenty of snark and intended hilarity. Not all of it lands. The assertion that "all" my comments are "incredibly and incessantly negative" is BS.
After leaving my own comments, I often read and respond to the comments of others. If my frequently acerbic and smartass replies upset you, again with that "block" button.
Strange that you don't recall friend-requesting me. hmmm...
How odd that you wrote this and then friend-requested me. lol
It's amusing to receive your comment at this point. You should have read me a couple of years back...I was far "nastier" than I am now. I've worked with the local MDL therapist and cleaned up my act considerably. :D
People can enjoy whatever they want and comment however they choose. And viciously cruel and nasty people like me can reply in a like manner. That is how comments work.
The obvious solution for you is to block me. Have you considered that option? It's right there at the top of my profile page. Perhaps your friend request was meant to be a block and you hit the wrong button. :) If so, it's never too late...
Finally, the word "masterpiece" IS the most abused and overused word on MDL. :) Toodles!
She's a full time paid employee working overtime who goes around creating new accounts to spam other genuine critical…
lol Oh B, you poor, abused victim. You put up a review, people get to read and react and comment about it. If you can't handle that, stop putting yourself out there. Have you considered simply ignoring comments you don't like? It's an option, really it is!
Even though the plot is mediocre, the production value is great and that rating is to mainly differentiate itself…
I would MUCH rather watch a great plot with good acting and a low budget than vice versa. Who cares how good production values are if they are in service of a mediocre and in this case melodramatic, plot if it doesn't even fulfill its own promise? This makes no sense.
How does a rating here "differentiate itself?" Isn't it supposed to be an average of ratings given it by MDL commenters/viewers? Oh, I forgot about the leeway the system here gives MDL to manipulate the ratings as it sees fit as determined by vaguely worded fine print.
This is far better than most gay short films I've seen. I love discovering one that's new to me even if it is already four years old.
The acting, except for the stereotype mother, is quite natural and good. My heart breaks for the partner who literally had to climb back into the closet to accommodate his selfish partner's sham marriage. I hope he maintains his self-respect and says this ends or I'm out.
Do you receive a salary for this type of fawning review of an embarrassingly bad show, or are you paid per piece? I'm asking because I'm interested in writing my own reviews for pay and am seeking your advice on how to get started.
Terrible, awful, pathetic. I can make myself watch no longer...dropped after 3 eps.
This is particularly painful because nothing but BL trash comes out of Thailand or the Philippines anymore, which leaves me with Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Now this type of cheesy dreck is turning up more frequently out of Korea; Taiwan too. I am near despair. My personal BL Golden Age seems to be drawing to a close...
Dropping.
1/10
haha...the 8.3/10 rating here tells you everything you need to know about the MDL BL viewership's taste level and gullibility. Sad but also hilarious. :D
If ep 2 from 27:21 onward into ep 3 doesn't count, I don't know what will. Bare shoulders? Serious steam? :D
No such luck. I tried rewatching S2 a few days ago and dropped it 20 minutes in. I think my taste level has risen significantly since I first watched this just 8 months ago. It just felt juvenile and lame..I wasn't having it.
The plot and the office stuff comes off so silly. I just didn't care.
I watch a lot more films than dramas and I don't drop my standards much just because something is a BL, so I drop most of them these days. :P Sadly.
Chian and Fou4mod had a long kissing scene in ep 5
That's your opinion, which is fine. To me, people being incredibly turned on and intimate in a sexual situation, with their mouths inches from each other but not kissing is...odd. Especially since they kissed outside of a sexual situation.
So OK, of course it is a director's choice. So why did the director MAKE that choice and what is he trying to say with it? Furthermore, regarding the lack of kisses in ITSAY and IPYTM, why does Boss restrain his characters in that way? Any thoughts?
I'm going to do a little research.
On edit: I can't find anything addressing why Boss's characters tend not to kiss much, which is also odd because they definitely don't. I am not fond of explanations like "Boss doesn't do that" because that doesn't address the WHY of that choice. Oh well.
I don't remember the other two smooches you mention at all. I'm not saying they didn't happen; just that they weren't anything memorable to me.
How many times did you end up watching this film? :D

Recommended. I saw it at the link below.

Good God. Why does shit like this exist?
How odd, to desire that the main feature and draw of a drama be something that just "happens" to be gay. Why don't you just watch a different genre?

OK...so they kissed, ONCE. Which is odd, especially in episode 7 when they so powerfully confessed to each other.
