Episode 7: I feel badly for actor Kan Hideyoshi as Sakae, having to force/fake an attraction to Nishiyama Jun as Soga. There is simply no chemistry between the two. Add to that Hideyoshi's hotness and Nishiyama' lukewarm nerdiness, and there's just nothing going on when they interact. It's embarrassing.
The show is badly written, of course, which doesn't help. lol A fever and porridge? REALLY? How original and innovative! Also, it was dumb the way Sakae allowed Mizuki to speak for him and lead him around by the hand...Sakae wouldn't reasonably do such a thing. Mizuki still comes off as a tad smarmy, but his chemistry with Sakae makes me want to see them together.
So, this is bad, but I'm going to finish it out because Hideyoshi is so easy on the eyes. That's it. That's the only reason. I'll probably give this a 6/10, the equivalent of a D school grade.
So...why didn't Dong Wook simply make that full confession and apology when he first showed up again? Because then we wouldn't have had a series. This was OK, not great, not terrible. Two leads are appealing. I don't buy that Do Hyun would fall for DW's arrogant, smirky campaign of reconnection, given what happened the last time they saw each other. That was ice-cold, man.
This was my second watch. I gave it a 7.5/10 rating last time, which to me is a C+. That seems about right.
you should try and give it a chance you cant judge a show based on the first episode, i cant force you to like…
It turns out I have watched "A Breeze of Love" when it was airing and enjoyed it. I rated it a 7.5/10, which for me is a C+. I don't remember what prevented it from being a B or A. :)
I think I'll rewatch ABOL. Maybe I'll like it more the second time around.

hahaha....thanks for the entertainment. You are hilariously stupid. Every comment is more of a laugh-riot than the one before.
I'm not arguing with a "retarted" (actually, it's "retarded," not "retarted") person such as yourself. But if you want to leave more drooling comments for me to laugh at, please go ahead.
btw, I need me, and that's all that matters. Love you.

Still yapping like a dog, I see. lol
I think you might be intellectually disabled. In my very first comment, I stated that I was dropping the series. Dropping a series, to help you understand, means that I am not watching the series, voluntarily. I don't recall writing that anyone was "forcing" me to watch it.
If you think I'm going to argue with you about some "topic," or explain myself to you further, you're wasting your time. Nothing good comes from arguing with mental midgets or the mentally ill.
Kuroki Haru has all the screen presence and charisma of a toadstool. Add that to the fact she's portraying a character with the charisma of a toadstool, and you have an unwatchable bore-fest.
I like both MLs, but this isn't going to be worth hanging around for.
It probably doesn't help that just last night I watched an excellent Korean film, with deeply engaging characters of both sexes and a riveting plot. In Japanese movies, the women are so often unbearably simpering, mincing about with that affected, faux-delicate, whispery-voiced spinelessness that was considered alluring 80 years ago, but is now just f**king annoying. I get that this very Japanese, and twisted, idea of feminine charms was beaten into women as they grew up back then, but what's the excuse now? Horrible.

Hate among people has been around since people have been around. What's with these silly comments? There is love all around you too. Hate gets most of the attention because it makes for more dramatic and exciting news and fictional stories.
You might consider the thousands of love-centered dramas/films that get made every year too.

I didn't know we were "arguing."
What's sad is using "there are bad apples everywhere" as an excuse for not doing as much as possible to get rid of the ones who are concentrated where they can do the most harm.

I disagree. I've dealt with cops on the east coast and in the midwest. And I read the news a lot. I know what I'm talking about.
Policing attracts a lot of ex-military, super-macho, butch, frustrated sadists, who are also very cliquish and protective of their own. As a group, their intelligence is below average.
I'm not saying ALL cops are this way by any means, just that it ATTRACTS a high percentage of the people I describe above and enough is not done to screen them out or get rid of the bad ones already there.
One of the best, most original Korean crime thrillers I've seen in a long time. Deeply moving, as well as violent, though I saw none of its violence as gratuitous, not in the least. Both male leads are outstanding. I was riveted, start to finish.
Highly recommended.
9.5/10
(7.5 my ass. MDL is psycho with ratings. The better the film/drama, the lower the rating and vice-versa. I get excited when I see a 6.5 rating here.)
I understand dropping a series after 7 minutes. I also do it. Sometimes even before that (like What the duck).…
Gay media can do whatever it wants.
In cases where a story is set in a bubble-gum clouds and unicorn fantasy world in which all the hot, straight, jocks fall in love with screaming queens and trans chicks, I won't be watching.
You go ahead and watch. No one's stopping you.
As I said, "These are complete, ridiculous fantasies," which do not appeal to me. I never said that no one should be allowed to make them anyway.
ALL fiction is an "alternative world." This shouldn't be news to anyone.

The lower the MDL rating, the better the show.
9.5 from me.
I write this as an American gay male. I've been around MDL four years now, so I know whereof I speak.
