Title 26 Years
Dropping halfway through.

This should have been a great flick but the plot is absurd. Multiple implausibilities, improbabilities, and impossibilities, I could name at least ten stupid things that have happened and I'm only halfway through this mess.

That young woman is incredibly annoying. She blew their plan and all their work to that point just because she wanted to, and with that stupid, inefficient lawn mower engine gun to make it worse.

Great cast except for the FL, could have been a great movie with different writers and director.

Awful.

I am beyond shocked. I can't believe this. Was it so bad that he had to commit suicide? He was popular and rich.…
I like that my replies to you, telling you to stfu and quit judging dead people who were driven to suicide by Korean netizens (are you one of them?) touched a nerve with you so strongly that you simply cannot stop trying to discredit them with these "crazy/off your meds" insults which everyone who sees them knows what they say about you.

Keep it up.

OK, I have to respond this last time to say it is annoying that you keep saying I "hate" Muslims when I specifically made it clear I do not. I despise and loathe Islam and Muhammed, the killing he and his followers did, and the subjugation of women in his name, and people who do other horrible things in his name. I do NOT "hate" Muslims. But because you have no other argument, you keep repeating that lie. "Hatred" is an irrational, over-emotional, destructive feeling. My feelings toward Islam are entirely rational and well thought-out.

You also keep repeating the lie that I am uneducated about Islam. I am extremely knowledgeable about Islam. That is why I despise it so much. I know what I'm talking about. I know your prophet was a hateful, murdering warlord, not a man of peace and love. Know people by their ACTIONS, not their bullshit words about "love," which mean nothing to the people they harm.

You keep spouting bullshit about how Islam teaches to hate what homosexuals do in bed, but leave them alone and respect them. That is bullshit too. Tell that to the thousands of gay people who have been jailed, tortured, and killed for being gay in various countries all over the world, but especially in the Middle East and Africa.

Your last statement is almost crazy and I worry you may be too. You know what would REALLY help to lessen the suicide rate among gay people in Muslim countries? If Islam fucking went away, that would help a lot. Gay people live in terror in Islamic countries, and many take their own lives as a result.

So don't tell me, someone who is gay and opposes Islam with all his being, that "seeing the big picture" or "respecting Islam," which teaches that I, who am simply who I was created by god to be, am a perpetrator of the worst sin possible, which is having gay sex. Worse than murder, rape, child-killing, torture, any vile thing you can think of. Your religion and its founder hold that me making love with someone I love is a vile, despicable sin against god. You ask me to respect that? You ask me to respect Muhammed and the people who follow his teachings? Never in a million years.

I do hope you have the best life you can possibly have as a woman in a Muslim environment. I do hope no man ever uses the sight of one of your bare ankles as an excuse to harm you. But mostly, I hope that someday you find it possible to swim in the sea, free of sheets, free to feel the wind against your flesh, your hair floating in the water, and all the beautiful sensations you are forbidden to experience.

OK, I agree, let's not continue this. I wish you well.

"Every religion have bad humans, don't blame it on the religion. You are racist"
See that last word there?

Anyway, I'm done arguing with you, Jida. You don't know your own religion. I know it far better than you. I've studied it for years, though somehow that fact hasn't registered in your little Islamic brain.

I hope you have a nice life wrapped in your sheets so your devout Muslim brothers won't rape you and blame it on you for tempting them.

Finally, I just read through a long list of hateful, ignorant statements made by Muhammed and Islamic scholars relating to homosexuality. Generally, Islam teaches that gay sex IS THE WORST POSSIBLE SIN AGAINST GOD, worse than murder and rape.
It is taught that gay people be flogged, stoned, beaten with sandals, tortured, insulted, KILLED in various ways, etc.
As I read, I couldn't help but wonder why your prophet was so obsessed with gay sex. Conclusion: Muhammed was gay.

Yes, a dead man can be bullied, and is unable to defend himself against vicious, hateful netizens such as you.

Your "you are crazy" schtick is just...lame.

Kiss my ass, douche. You're bullying a dead man with your judgmental, "how could he not think of his family?" bullshit.

I am an American lover of Korean cinema, but I'm beginning to think I should stop indirectly supporting this industry…
It's sad that you are doing the very thing in your comment that you accuse the netizens of. Lee Kyung-young, the amazing actor you're trashing about the "statutory rape," was tried for the charges, found guilty of one and not guilty of two, spent nine months in jail, two years of probation and a fine. The young woman was 17, not 12, and presented herself as an adult. The sex was entirely consensual.

And this was all back in 2002. He went nearly nine years without appearing in any films or dramas. What would be enough punishment for you? Should he kill himself too? Why should his career be destroyed because he had sex three times with a woman who lied about her age? Why do you and Koreans care so much about what goes on in other people's panties and beds? None of your freaking business.

Plus, as I said, he has more than paid for what happened and made a successful comeback. Good for him. Great. That's what people are supposed to do after being found guilty of a crime. Remake themselves and be a productive citizen!

But you and the Netizens think LKY should never be able to act again. Well, too bad and too late and good for him. I am happy such a talented man was able to crawl back out from under the insanity of the netizens and Korea's blood-thirsty culture of shame.

I discovered Korean cinema about three years ago and have watched almost nothing else, along with Japanese, Taiwanese, and Hong Kong cinema since. It's at a whole other level Hollywood doesn't even know about.

However, during that same time I have educated myself about Korea's sadistic Internet culture and psycho fan culture, which has been integral in driving an unbelievable number of actors and K-Pop stars to choose suicide.

But it's not only them. Korea as a whole has the highest rate of suicide among developed countries in the entire world, and it's only getting worse. The suicide rate among those 15-30 years old went UP 17% in 2023 over 2022.

Several K-Pop stars killed themselves in 2023, most notably Moonbin of the group Astro, who was a huge star. Koreans just go "oh well..." and move on with their day. No biggie Something is deeply off-kilter about the entertainer/fan dynamic in Korea. People are obsessed, judgmental, and feel successful people OWE them, the public, these standards of behavior that are none of their fucking business. But they don't wait for charges to be PROVED, oh no, accusations will do just as well to destroy people, as we see here.

At this point, the industry should shut itself down for a month and take stock of what the hell is going on and how to stop it. But yeah, that won't happen.

Maybe try not judging people who are driven to despair and choose suicide. It's not your place.
Like I said, it's not your place, a**hole. A lot of Koreans believe they are "shaming" their family by the situation thrust upon them, and that the honorable thing is to die...go away, get it? Now shut up.
