He's a great actor. You're a dime a dozen Netizen.
If replying to a year-old message is lame, how lame is replying to a reply to a year-old message? Did someone force you to answer me? This is the type of imagined insult used by lame-brains such as yourself who have absolutely nothing left to say that makes sense.
Despite the fine acting of Okada Junichi and the presence of one of my favorite actors, Ayano Go, I'm dropping this about 50 minutes in.
The problem is simple: I have seen the Korean original twice. It is on my top 30 best feature films list. It is excellent in every way, and this Japanese remake is weak by comparison. I have no idea how I would feel about this film if I hadn't seen the Korean original first. Regardless, I'm bored and I'm out.
A Funny, Charming, and Altogether Delightful Little Movie_________________________________________________________________The…
Well hell, I already watched this once and gave it a 9.5/10 but your review has moved me to put it back on my PTW list. Maybe it will move up to a 10/10.

The court said "what," exactly? What is "it?"
Korean media and people like you are expert at writing even lengthy articles that actually don't say much at all, except for leaving a general, vague feeling that the person being attacked has done something bad and is a terrible human being.
You did it again in this comment: "admitted to the 'allegations.'" WHAT allegations specifically? The bullying, the sexual assault, or both, or none? You, like the media, don't fully explain.
Words have specific meanings and purpose; you don't get to just toss them around like salad and then say, "there's your proof."
Jisoo issued an obviously bullshit apology at the behest of his agency, in regard to the BS bullying accusations. He then retracted that apology. He has maintained all along that the SA allegations are bullshit, but thanks for trying to make it seem otherwise.
Get a life and stop trashing celebs for not being perfect, as you are not perfect either.
I noticed the last drama and movie I watched show an actor's nude butt: Sweet Home and Marry My Dead Body. I guess…
I'm all for as many nude butt shots as I can get. Marry My Dead Body is hysterically funny and sweet. A lot of Asian films, especially Korean, feature extremely creative and funny cursing and obscenities, so I'm cool with those also. What country is "your own?" I'm American.
No, she's not. Kang han na was main frmale lead on The Empire Lust (2015). She's full nak3d and doing real s3x…
Are you crazy or just dumb? I wrote nothing about penises or vaginas. YOU wrote about them. And why do you keep using special characters to write those words, as if they're dirty and nasty and mommy told you not to say or write them?
What or who is it you think the "haters" hate? This show is so bad, you should be thrilled with a high-average…
oooooooh, someone's cranky today. You said "fucking," so that must mean that you are absolutely correct in saying "it's not that deep..." You are right about this particular BL at least. It's not "fucking" deep at all.
Did you know that some BLs are actually "fucking" well-made, and feature excellent acting, direction, cinematography and other such qualities?
oh gosh, and then you wrote "for fuck's sake," so that must mean you are extra, super-correct, except that you're wrong. Lame, all-caps cursing never has really done much to sway my opinion.
Bruh...this is garbage. Even my adorable New can't save this turd.7.6 is WAY higher than this thing deserves. It's…
Wow, you have such an un-original approach to insulting people you disagree with, and that is definitely a problem here! It exposes you as a simpleton to everyone who reads your comments. Bless your heart.
He didn't rape anyone, moron. But don't let that stop you from spreading false bullshit around the internet. I wish there was a way for ji soo to find and sue liars like you.
He's a supporter of bullying and friends with bullies. Not a good character for an actor.
I actually hope the commenter you're replying DOES have their life ruined for something they did as a kid. Might learn a lesson about life and when it's time to forgive.
Still, the most powerful, moving, and original end-of-life movie or drama I have ever seen. I first saw it more than two years ago, but only now felt up to the joyful agony of a second watch. I cried without stop the last three episodes, and I'm glad I put myself through it again. I caught a few things I missed before. The live-action/animation combination is handled expertly. I am already looking forward to my third watch in another two years or so.
The script does not shy away from the pain, fear, sorrow, anger, and all the rest that comes with situations like this, but there is a big, big heart underlying the tale and the technique and I came out of this as I did the first time, an utter wreck but with a sense of hope.
Ji Soo is extraordinary in this role. The supporting players are excellent across the board. There is no over-acting. I see real people living through a horrible reality and reacting to it, which is why the show is so profoundly moving and cathartic.

Well, gosh, if you say I'm "dumb," I guess I must be. Enjoy your standards-free watch of a typical, low-quality, Thai BL. This type of thing is made for people like you. Low standards and low quality is how they're able to pump out two of these turds per week.
Absurd. Stupid. Ridiculous. Laughable. Insulting to the intelligence of anyone unfortunate enough to watch it.
This is the worst-written, most poorly-directed "thriller" I have ever seen.
And I have watched a LOT of thrillers since I found Korean cinema. I never cared for most of those coming out of Hollywood. However, this is a pos to the utmost possible degree. It takes on an infuriating topic - male, korean juveniles receiving appallingly lenient sentences for rape - and makes a joke of it with countless plot holes and moronic, implausible character choices - to the extent that I didn't feel sorry for the mother OR the victim. And I am a deeply empathetic person.
But to evoke empathy in the audience, you have to write characters who don't make endless, stupid choices and a story that could happen in the real, you know, world.
Terrible flick. And I hate to say that because I like Yoo Oh Sung a lot as an actor. Thankfully, his role was mostly tangential so the script didn't call on him to humiliate himself as often as it did the FL.
