Note to Souta: “No” is the wrong answer when you’re asked if you like the guy you’re trying to kiss. I…
Too true. Mahiro did everything exactly opposite of the way his boss/friend told him to approach things. Had he been brave, as suggested, he would have allowed the kiss, Souta would know he was in love and they'd be in each other's arms. Now, not so much.
I respect your opinion...even if it's shallow, judgmental, & shows how unknowledgeable you are about Kpop music…
You say "I just try not to shit on others taste in art..." and then you shit all over the tastes of billions of Taylor Swift fans by letting us know you "despise" her and another sentence or two describing in great detail how much you loathe her.
She's written or co-written hundreds of songs across the following genres and been very successful doing so: Country Country-Rock Country-Folk Folk Bluegrass Pop Dance-Pop Pop-Rap Pop-Rock EDM Musical Theatre To say there are NO songs out of that vast oeuvre that you can appreciate in any way says more about a closed mind than TS' songwriting or singing. An endless list of major stars have lauded her talents as a singer-songwriter, including Carole King, Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, Elton John, Ringo Starr, Billie Joel, the Foo Fighters, Michael Stipe, and on and on it goes. A noted music historian whose name escapes me said "she is the best singer-songwriter of several generations, not just one. She is a poet as well as a musician."
I'm not trying to convince you or turn you into a Swiftie. It's clear that if she wrote the most stunning symphony for a full orchestra ever put to paper, you'd describe it as more "bathwater." I'm just always interested in people who find a way to demean and insult a hugely popular star because they ARE a hugely popular star, as a means of setting themselves above the hoi polloi. I don't know if you are one of those people, but your vicious TS insults indicate you might be. And of course, you have every right to choose to be one of those people. I'm not saying you don't, but I AM commenting on it, as I have the right to do.
I never cared for Nirvana but I loved "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and one other song. Never liked R.E.M. in general but liked several of their songs. Never cared for the Bee Gees or Reba MacIntire much, but like songs from both of them. Queen bores me but Bohemian Rhapsody is some kind of genius. Not a huge Aretha Franklin fan but "Freeway of Love" blew me away. And on and on this list goes too...
Also, the impertinent, shameless girl from work has all the sex appeal of a tree stump.
That said, the double-compounded misunderstanding trope has raised its ugly head, sadly.
