Stepping back into these cliches we've seen a million times is a big letdown compared to how fresh and funny the first two eps were.
Ain't gonna lie, Asamiya and Mayama's brother DO make a great-looking couple. Watching them chat outside Mayama's house, I felt the chemistry that isn't there between Asamiya and Mayama. I kind of wanted them to make out. It would be awesome if they worked into the script that Asamiya and Mayama argue, after which Asamiya gets drunk and sleeps with the brother, and Mayama catches them in bed. And murders them with an axe, of course.
I get that sometimes we don't know exactly why we fall for someone, but so far we've been given only Mayama's generosity of spirit as a reason why Asamiya's so hot for him. I need more.
