I do remember. But SK is crawling with NK spies. If one spots Agent Kim by accident, they're f**ked. Then, if they can't locate him, all they have to do is follow one of his buddies or the woman who's keeping tabs on the daughter. BTW, if there's a sequel, she'll be AK's love interest. :-D

I wouldn't call it an open ending. Everything that the series presented early on and along the way was wrapped up tidily. But, they tagged on this odd scene that had nothing to do with the rest of it, apparently as a teaser for what may be a second season.
Episode 3: This show is a hoot. There's this dark sister/brother love triangle brewing underneath, but overhead, everything is bubbles, rainbows, and cotton candy clouds. lol I love that the parents are a bit dingbat-ish, but very sweet. As a whole, this reminds me of cheesy-bright 1970/80s American sitcoms. Rock the sparkly cloud doggie, is beautiful.
And the preview: omg...a sleepover is coming. And maybe not the only thing cumming..? :O
ummm...why bother to give them new identities and new names if everyone they know is going to continue to associate with them, know where they live, know their new and old names, and everything else? Such a brainless setup leaves them exposed. NK will hunt them down in no time. When someone has to be set up with a new name, new life, etc., they need to be completely cut off from everyone. In this case, everyone they know would need to believe they were dead too, and they would be sent "abroad" to live. Koreans are sent "abroad" in dramas all the time, but in this case, with lives at stake, they move across town and hang out with everyone who knew them before. Lame.
I hate when a drama is pretty great for 9 1/2 of its 10 hours, then leaves me with a sour taste due to a super cheesy last half-hour and a wtf (sequel coming!!!) ending.
This is quite good, but there are a lot of things that could have been better. Lots of plot holes and implausibles, which means sloppy writing. The two sidekicks and the slapstick related to them were extended beyond their shelf life as often as they were funny. Things that are funny once are not funny the tenth time.
Action scenes are great, though. So Ji Sub is solid, as usual. The daughter is great.
I get that you're stupid and condescending, which is a dangerous combination, but my reply consists of two short and one long sentence. Your condescending lecture to the rest of us, on the other hand, consists of four sentences.
Yet, somehow, mine is an "essay" and yours is...also an essay? A brief essay? A tiny essay? Oh wait, or is it that replies must be no more than two stupid sentences, and that doesn't apply to OPs..?
Please educate us as to the "literary devices" or rules applicable to this situation, so that the rest of us can SPOT them.

P.S. Oh gosh, I just realized that to you, this reply must register as the equivalent of a novella, containing as it does, multiple sentences, paragraph breaks, and all that literary shit. Sorry. Maybe tackle a couple of sentences per day this week, and reply over the weekend...?
