Tbh i kinda agree with the part that u clicked on toxic bl and u are surprised that it is this toxic? Yes I got…
Ignore the morally fragile, self-righteous, shrieking MDL Church Girls.
They LIVE for toxic, dark dramas and the opportunities they provide for expressing their umbrage and shock, shock I tell you!, that anyone would enjoy such material.
Meanwhile, they're jerking off on the couch while they watch LuFeng and his wild antics.

Morally fragile viewers will literally see the content warnings, know a toxic BL contains SA, kidnapping, abuse,…
omg, yes.
I had two orgasms while reading your perfectly written rant.

MDL Church Girls LIVE to express their righteous outrage at fictional characters and actions. Nothing you say will ever stop them, but I admire your effort.

And yes, they deliberately watch and enjoy shows they claim to abhor. They're as titillated by LuFeng as the rest of us normal people.

They do. I am glad we got the right cast
Ugh.
My feeling is that Yichen is woefully miscast.
Up against Ayden Sng, there is almost literally nothing there.
Poor Ayden has to do the acting for both of them.

again f*** the brother and his dog bf ( will always hate this 2 characters)
hahaha
I laughed when the little turd punched LuFeng like he was some butch dude.
In the real world, a guy like LuFeng would snap that twerp in half.

I watched the movie 10 years ago, from what I remember the guy was said to have died in a plane crash or something.…
What guy?

Episode 11:
These are two very, very sick individuals. lol
Lu Feng is more insane now, when he's quiet and tentative, than early in the show when he was shouting and physically aggressive.
As for Yichen, well, I've been tired of his weak puppy act for several episodes now.
He basically wanders around in a coma with his mouth hanging open.
There is nothing about his character that explains Lu Feng's obsession with him.

It's a tad disturbing how male/female-coded LuFeng and Yichen are.
Yichen is this wispy little girl that the he-man LuFeng tosses around like a doll.
Borderline weird.

I'm beyond thankful that the obnoxious little brother has gone "abroad."
I hope he stays there.
As for his BF, that's another case of wtf? What the hell does he see in the little brother?

Finally, just to re-state the obvious: Ayden Sng is wildly, off-the-charts hot.
The close-ups of him making out with Yichen drove me nuts in a good way.

why r u so pissed over a good drama? lolif you hate them this much then Just stop watching chinese actors that's…
I'll "put my opinion" however I choose to, thanks.
I don't care if you're "offended."

I'll say it again: Chinese voice actors OVERACT.
I don't care what you think about that, it's my opinion.

I don't care that every damn show out of China is dubbed.
It sounds ridiculous.
It's sad that the actors in this show had to do the acting and line readings during filming, then do the dialogue ALL OVER AGAIN for dubbing, and it STILL sounds ridiculous.

"...the plot and everything is like a fine wine." hahaha
There you go, fangirling again.

You seem fixated on praising this show...interesting.
Are you the director's mom?
One of the voice actor's dad?

Problem is, 90% of the sex scenes in the film, which is one of my all-time faves, focus on the straight couple.
I consider this a gay film.
It's about a gay king in a relationship with a bisexual man who finds his straight side in a really physically and emotionally dangerous fashion. The King/guard relationship is an established one in the beginning, yet it's the guard and the queen we see banging over and over and over in
the film.

There are countless different ways to tell a story.
I would like to have seen how the King/guard relationship grew and moved from king/subject, to king/guard, to king/lover. That, and showing more of their intense physical relationship, would have made everything that came later that much more intense. And it's freaking intense already.

This doesn't have to be a "problem" for you, but it's a problem for me. Again, I say that as someone who rates this film 9.5/10 and has it near the top of my fave gay films list. The .5 off is for what I wrote above.

I agree; I think it's just because we are literally seeing Ryo being so sad that we might see Futami as annoying.…
Never mind.
We're watching two different shows.

God help me...

Nah...if I want to watch Yakuza stuff, I'll find a quality feature film.
This is embarrassing.
The fight scenes were convincing, though, at least the ones that I saw.

Dropped after episode 3.

So, having just watched Ep 4......I'm wondering why Tae Jeong - the supposed "cop" - is so freaking wimpy.…
hahaha
Enjoyed your comment. :)

The absurd casting of that wimpy little guy as a cop is just one of many reasons I'm dropping this sad thing. Too bad, because the lead has potential and a great face.

Actually, this is what a sadomasochistic, codependent relationship looks like. Also, you labeled their relationship…
So, you're referring to the 5 likes on your very first comment, and the zero likes on your subsequent comments, correct? lol
And no, I don't pay much attention to how many likes my or anyone else's comments get.

Quick English lesson:
"...but you're not my perspective" is incoherent.
Try "but if you don't share my perspective."

Yes.
After I left the comment to which you responded, I read through others and determined it's the jealousy thing that I'm supposed to be feeling the angst about. However, the bowl cut guy turned out to be harmless and Ryo knows that, so I don't get what the melodrama is all about.

He saw them together on the street after Zen had said he was still working, which he only said to cover that he was shopping for a present for Ryo, and it was clear that Zen and Futami were going their separate ways home, so again, I'm not getting where this is all coming from.

It seems too low-key to serve as a climax to this story.

If you're suggesting I took down a comment, you are mistaken.
If not, I don't know what you're yammering about.

The problem might be that English is your fifth language.

Who are these "5 people" you're on about? lol
And now you're back to labeling their love, then saying you're not labeling it.
You are correct, my calling your words lame does not change the fact that they're lame.

THIS.

I've been saying it for years. lol
Save your angst, the "This is what's going to happen in the adaptation because it's what happened in the Manga and no changes are ever made" people are never going to catch a clue.

The most entertaining part is when they share what was in the Manga as if reading the Ten Commandments from Mount Zainai. :)

Episode 8:
I'm lost.
I'm not getting why Ryo's so stressed, when everything he might have suspected between Zen and Futami turned out to be nothing...?

Why was his asking Zen to stay overnight, presented as if it were some climactic event?

I felt like 7&8 held the promise of drama, but actually, not much happened.

On edit:
After reading comments below, I guess I got what I was supposed to get, that Ryo is jealous and that Zen isn't good at assuaging that jealousy, so Ryo is lost in it and sad, but...it all comes off so low-impact to me that I'm not feeling it.
