I don't see that as something they'll cut, unless perhaps the suicide attempt, because Lord knows we don't want anyone feeling "uncomfortable" when seeing that.

YOU are responsible for your reaction to what other people say and write. No one MAKES you feel one way or another. If you are upset to read opinions you don't like, it may be because those opinions are touching a place of insecurity in your opposing opinion. Maybe you should consider taking a look at the insecurity instead of announcing that no one should ever dismiss a show as terrible because you don't like to hear it, which is a juvenile, defensive position.

Works of art are created to be evaluated by the standards of all who encounter them, not only those who like everything about them.
These are professional, paid actors, crew, etc., whose completed work it is absolutely valid to criticize as a failure.

I don't think anyone's saying that some really delicious sandwiches weren't made by the food cart on set, or that there aren't a few cute/acceptable/not horrible moments sprinkled here and there throughout any individual show.
But to conclude that therefore no show/flick should ever be denounced as a failure is silly.

No one is owed the experience of reading through a comment section entirely free of posts that annoy them.
We learn and grow from things that annoy us; they prompt us to take a look, however briefly, at our assumptions/positions/perspectives and adjust (or not) accordingly.

Are you familiar with Kim Jonghyun, the lead singer of Kpop band SHINee who died by suicide in 2017?
I was/am a huge fan of his.
His death is an incalculable tragedy.
After his passing, his mother established a foundation in his honor that supposedly funds mental health services for idols/entertainers who need it.
Thing is, I can never find any info online to substantiate that such services are actually available and being used.
It's like that elsewhere; I occasionally read bits about agencies offering mental health services to their idols but I suspect not much is coming of it.
The annoying stigma surrounding mental health remains strong in Korea, and I'm guessing most actors/idols are afraid if they make use of the services, word will get around, and it will hurt their career.
Frustrating as hell.

Neo is handsome.
MewTop - No chemistry/not believable.
MewRay - No chemistry/not believable.
Thai BLs are always overlit.

The character of Ray is someone so naturally charming and good-looking that people are drawn to him despite the addictions and cheating he constantly does.
Khaotung is not qualified to be that person, and the miscasting is a huge problem for this show.

I hadn't thought of this as a possibility, but it makes sense.
Lord, wasn't it a YEAR before they even talked about sex or love?

I don't understand why an aromantic person would want to be in a romantic, one-on-one relationship, though.
Nor do I understand why an asexual person would enter into a dating relationship without confirming that the other person is okay with no sex.

Ryota would be awesome as a Hobbit. :)

Episode 4:
They made me cry. :)

This is the episode I've been waiting four weeks for.
Seeing Naoya so happy waiting tables among a supportive staff he likes makes ME happy.
I was beaming at the screen like an insane person. :)

The repressed anger/frustration of so many JP business people and office workers is beautifully expressed here.
How tragic is it that his sadistic father worked him harder and harder to break him to his will, but since Naoya completed every impossible task given him, it only made his father more furious.
What a fucking psycho.

So pleased that Naoya said take your job and shove it.
If waiting tables makes him that happy, he should wait tables until retirement. :D

Takaaki and Naoya's talk on the couch at the end...crying again. :)

I just finished the second episode.

As you can imagine, I'm disappointed but not surprised that this sanitized version took all the hilarious transgression out of the original's accidental hookup between Book and Frame.
There were a couple of sparks, though, like when Frame was touching Book's tattoo and got hard.
I love, "Damn, you made me hard!" or whatever it was.
Teen boys are horny af 24/7 (I know, I was one)

So far, Book strikes me as a hot-blooded sex-freak who's great at keeping that part of himself under wraps.
I don't know if that's what they're going for here, but it's the vibe I'm getting.
SO funny when Frame was threatening Book with a kiss in the classroom:
"My lips are soft. You can try them." hahaha

Episode 2:
Fuse has great legs.
Tee is badly miscast. No charisma. No personality. Not cute.

The amount of time the director makes these poor actors stand still staring at each other like mute half-wits, sometimes within lines of their own dialogue, is annoying af.
It's a strange tic of many Thai BLs.

Why are they watching the original MIR with the sound off?
Fuse's painfully politically correct, accepting, open-minded parents are ridiculous.

I knew the show would throw cold water on the wildly transgressive, hilarious, original version of BookFrame's accidental hookup, but it's still disappointing to see it.
I suppose we won't get to see them go to the doctor the next day to treat Book's sore butt, either. :(
The new Frame is fun to watch, though not quite to the level of Ohm.
The new Book is showing promise.

Oh man, this Tee is a disaster.
