Reaching immortality through cultivation is a xianxia concept, not wuxia. The fact that YBY will die if he leaves the mountain means that he's not an actual immortal.

If you're not a fan of wuxia and you dislike this drama, I think it's okay if you want to drop it. You're not under any obligation to like it. Life is too short to spend it by watching things you don't like.

You can't judge the story on the first eps because you don't know how it will develop later, but you can see some other things, like the directing, the acting, the fight choreography.

Kudos to the producers and directors and script writer for knowing exactly what they need for WKX and ZZS and selecting GJ and ZZH to play them.

Yeah, WKX is super-fun to watch. I love GJ's acting! I can tell whatever WKX's feeling at every moment in the drama, even when he's having a mix of different emotions all at once.

But, like you, I love ZZS more. I'm always drawn to these cool and confident characters and ZZH portrays him beautifully.

And WKX calls "Ah Xu" three times too, as well as ZZS's reaction to that.

I know about WKX's holding up his fan as he whispered in ZZS's ear. And the "Is it pretty?" "Pefect" exchange. And ZZS's parting line in the peach blossom forest. And I think how WKX should hold ZZS when he was under the Drunk Like a Dream influence. And I think how WKX should roll up Gu Ziang's whip and pull her closer at their very first encounter scene.

Yes, completely different! For one thing, I don't know how GJ's Ah-Xu would be able to resist ZZH's WKX with that charming smile he displayed in the reenactment.

Yes, this was an impromptu thing, so we don't know what kind of WKX we would get if ZZH immersed himself more in the character.

GJ's combination of shameless flirting and child-like innocence is the best.

Thank you for the confirmation! It's only in rewatching the episode that I realized this.

In Four Seasons Manor, we find a similar painting by ZZS's teacher with the flowers representing the students of FSM. So I guess ZZS is making a similar painting at his own residence, and I'm assuming the flowers in *his* painting also represents the members of FSM.

In the first episode, we see him coloring one flower red and as he does so, there's a voice-over of the uncle who requested the Seven Nails earlier. So I'm wondering:

Does ZZS paints the flowers red one by one as the FSM members dies? After that uncle's flower, we see that only one flower remains white, which I think represents himself, the only survivor of FSM.
