may i know where to watch all the bts plus some scenes where we can hear the actors' real voices?
BTS with the actors' real voices are usually paid BTS, so you'll have to either: 1. Pay for each of the paid BTS video on Youku app/website, or 2. Pay for the top-tier membership on the Youku channel on Youtube and have access to all paid BTS, or 3. Look for leaked footage on the Internet (I found many on Twitter)
Merchs talking. Heard that YK will release official DVD for SHL concert. Are you going to buy it? or are you going…
I planned to end the subscription after one month, but the BTS videos are still trickling out, so I'm continuing my subscription for another month. I really hope I'll be able to go down the mountain by the end of this second month, LOL.
After seeing so many BTS where Zhang Zhehan comes up with ideas to make the scenes better, now whenever I see a small gesture or detail that adds spice or interest to a scene, I immediately think it has something to do with him (although in reality, it could've been an idea from GJ or the directors, or the result of their collaboration).
I didn't finish it because I saw too many spoilers on insta and youtube that I no longer was too interested in…
I accidentally read some spoilers too while I was watching this. But I love the drama so much, so although some things were no longer a surprise, I still enjoyed it immensely. After all, wouldn't you watch a beloved drama over and over, although you already know the story?
At first I only watched the drama only since I was too lazy to follow all the PR shows and materials, but then…
Same here! BTS is usually as far as I go for extra content of a drama, if I really like the drama. Usually I couldn't care less about the actors, I only want to enjoy the story and the characters.
But the moment I first saw their interview together, I was hooked. They seem so genuine and really enjoy each other's company. And the fact that their personalities are complete opposite to their characters somehow adds to the fun. Sweet, shy GJ and extroverted ZZH who mercilessly teases his co-star, LOL. They're so hilarious, especially their appearance in "Happy Camp" and the WOH concert.
I wonder how many people here watch the drama and love the drama only, and how many also watch the interviews and variety shows of the two lead actors? And I wonder how much the genuine and sometimes hilarious off-screen friendship of the two actors contribute to the overwhelming success of this drama? A little bit? A lot?
I'm currently starting to watch the second livestream interview of WOH here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2m3txZklL0 I'm not sure how long ago they added the Chinese subtitle, but I've just gotten around to watching it now, with auto-translated English subtitle. Not perfect, but at least I can follow the conversation. (How cute is Gong Jun, mimicking Zhang Zhehan by folding his arms in front of his chest at 5:37?)
does anyone know where to find full concert episodes and with eng subs?
There are two ways to watch it:
1. On the Youku website/app. I think you can still buy access to the concert. 2. On the Youku YouTube channel. You can join the channel at the Ultimate Fans Pass level and then access members-only content, which include the concert.
Pros and cons. If you buy access to the concert on the Youku website/app, the videos will be available to you for the next 10 years, but you'll only have access to the concert, not other paid content like exclusive BTS videos. If you join their YouTube channel, you only have access as long as you pay your monthly subscription fee, but you'll have access to all paid member-only content.
WWX is a misunderstood hero. When he experienced tragedy, he was already in his teens, and so his desire for revenge…
Wow, the existence (or non-existence) of the second flutist certainly changes things! Anyway, IIRC, WWX was hailed the hero after his massacre of the bad Wens (and LWJ was the only one who scolded him) and then was labeled a villain after his rescue of the good Wens (and LWJ was the only one who supported him). And of course his dark power frightened people, but I don't remember if he ever uses it for something other than to take revenge or to defend himself. But then I watched The Untamed over a year ago so I may have misremembered some things.
As I wrote my original post above, I did wonder how much of WKX's evil-lunatic persona is for effect and how much is real. But then I think about the whole fake Glazed Armor thing again and how much he was taken by surprise when ZZS rebuked him for it. He clearly didn't think that what he was doing was wrong. And I think about how he wrote the children's rhyme to paint a target on the Five Lake Alliance and plunge the whole Jianghu into chaos. If he weren't the protagonist, we would've think of him as an evil madman.

WWX only killed members of the Wen clan who he thought deserved it, though. He saved and protected the innocent members of the clan! A person with evil in his heart would never have done that.
What's the book version of WWX like? I've never read it.
WKX is so proud of his grand scheme that he even staged a show for ZZS during their moon-gazing date. He finds the deaths caused by the fake Glazed Armor amusing. And look at how wild his eyes are when he urges the people at the failed Heroes Conference to fight and kill each other.
I also like that his change of heart isn't instant. I like how he's defiant towards A-Xu when they watched the Heroes Conference from afar. He's like, this is what I am, I'm gonna stick to my plans, take it or leave it, I dare you to stop me.
I agree with you about WKX's lunatic persona. It's so much fun to watch him in that mode. But yes, you can't help but sympathize with WKX's vulnerable side. Gong Jun really did a great job portraying all of these different sides of WKX.
I hope I don't get roasted for mentioning "The Untamed" in this post, haha, but I just watched a video that I…
WWX is a misunderstood hero. When he experienced tragedy, he was already in his teens, and so his desire for revenge has specific targets. He kills who deserves to be killed and he protects the innocents even if it's unpopular. He sacrifices himself many times for people who hate him. He's unorthodox, untamed, but never evil.
WKX is a villain with a change of heart. He experienced tragedy when he was young, growing up with hatred in his veins. He schemes to destroy the whole jianghu, and himself along with it. He delights in the deaths and chaos he causes. If it weren't for A-Xu, I don't think he would've blinked at the deaths of the four sages or CL's family--they would've been acceptable collateral, part of the greedy world. Luckily he meets A-Xu and begins to see the good in the world and then regrets his evil ways.
