ِIn fact, you're a bit early but anyway, as far as I remember, I dropped it early, cause I didn't like the story at all.
For those interested in the drama. The first 4 episodes were subbed a couple of years ago and you can find them on the internet. Recently, another subber subbed the whole, but after receiving one negative comment, decided to remove the subs. So we still need to wait for a mature & reliable subber to do this.
I really liked the main topic: failing at your dream. Also, I think the beginning was really well-thought and powerful, but I don't think later episodes add something substantial and meaningful. I expected each story to dig more into the topic, showing some news aspects and ..., but as far as I get, different characters' stories weren't more than 'interesting' things, as though the director just wanted to keep the viewers interested.
I don't know if it's ok for me to say this, but having a farewell letter very similar to her, I can relate a lot.…
Sorry to hear that, but very thankful for sharing your honest and informative thoughts on this. I had a close friend who decided to commit suicide in a couple of months. I did everything I could, talked to all his friends regularly and everyone that might help to find every possible solution. For 4-5 months, I did everything I could but at some point, I noticed it was useless. His other friends didn't give up and saved him once by changing his suicide 'medication', but he committed suicide once again after a year and this time no one was around him, because everyone gave up at that stage. It was so sad, he was young and very strong, educated with a good job and high income, popular with girls and so many other things, but all these then meant nothing to him.
Haha, I wanted to try it myself, but after 3-4 episodes, I'm done with it! But as for Wakui Emi's acting: give her a silly story and silly character and she plays it in a way you might think it's a work of Shakespeare or Tolstoy!
