On Her Private Life Jul 3, 2021
If you like the "fake dating becomes real" trope, you'll like this drama. The drama does get a little draggy after Episode 11, but it ties up loose ends, such as Ryan's childhood backstory that you see in the earlier episodes. You learn very early on that he's adopted, and other elements in the early part of the drama have something to do with his past.

An open ending is an ending to a story that's open to interpretation, an ambiguous ending.

I personally feel like this is one of the best dramas out there. Everyone's asking when does the romance start…
Is it more like an open ending, or straight-up cliffhanger?
I got into Asian dramas in 2018, and I'd been postponing watching "Princess Agents" ever since because of it.

maybe cuz the actors in the new version are so young...
Yeah, but Caesar (Ximen) and Jiaqi (Xiaoyou) in the new version are around the same age as Shen Yue and Dylan Wang, and yet Ximen/Xiaoyou's kisses were better than Shan Cai and Ah Si's.

Title Love O2O
This (and the fact that Yang Yang and Zheng Shuang had a total of three expressions) were the two reasons I never…
Considering that all of the girls didn't even know him personally, or at all, they wouldn't have known his negative qualities anyway.

In real life, those girls would only like him for his good looks and athleticism.

But in an audience viewpoint, Xiao Nai being so boyfriend material is exactly what him so appealing.

I don’t care about the sports or the game--that's not what makes him appealing, not to me anyway. It's the kind of boyfriend he is to Weiwei.

If you find him "boring" or "too perfect," it's most likely because you're too used to guys being bad boyfriends (whether toxic or abusive), or because you have low standards.
Xiao Nai should actually be considered normal.
- It should be normal for a boyfriend to NOT raise their voice at you.
- It should be normal to treat you like a partner
- It should be normal to trust your S.O. over a classmate (which, even so, it still made my heart flutter when Xiao Nai told Cao Guang, “Why wouldn’t I trust my girlfriend?” after Cao Guang asked about Xiao Nai never doubting Weiwei even when he watched the video.)
etc...

Xiao Nai may be wholesome, but it doesn’t mean he’s perfect. He’s just good boyfriend/husband material.

I just finished watching it and I feel like I've been traumatized ? I don't know how I'll be able to move on from…
It's been nearly a year since I finished it, and it'll take time to move on. While I can't feel the pain anymore, I remember it hurting so much. And I...want it again? Like, any drama that can have such a hold on your emotions, and have it hurt so much...damn!
I almost feel like, due to past traumas from dramas like that, I've done a good job suppressing my emotions, so I need a tragedy that'll bring it out, even if it's heartbreak. It takes A LOT for me to cry.

Xing fei voice is dubbed
It's called Standard Mandarin. It's for everyone to understand. China has the largest population in the world, --you can't expect every Chinese person to recognize all the dialects and accents. (A lot of Chinese people don't even know how to write their own logograms, 'cause they're used to texting it on their computers and phones instead of actual writing.)
------
And, I don't think there's such a thing as NO dialect and NO accent. Even if we can't recognize it or hear it when we speak, it doesn't mean we're speaking with no accent.

Wait did they retcon the meeting of FJ and DJ? Or is there an additional one?
Not really a retcon. Since TMOPB's production team didn't have the copyrights to "The Pillow Book," they made up their own version of Donghua and Fengjiu's storyline. It's not canon.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, in TMOP, towards the end of the drama, wasn't BFJ already named queen of Qinqiu.…
The production team for TMOPB had made up their own version of Donghua and Fengjiu's story, because they didn't have the copyrights to The Pillow Book. "Eternal Love of Dream," however, is based on The Pillow Book, so it isn't a continuation of TMOPB. Naturally, it's extremely different from TMOPB.

I think I have an unpopular opinion on this drama.I watched the second season by mistake thinking it was a continuous…
This is a web drama, while TMOPB wasn't. It [the first season of The Eternal Love] was also low budget, but I think the acting was really well done for a silly/lighthearted comedy. Qu Tan'er and Xiao Tan are very different, and the actress is good at showing it. Plus, her comedic timing, I think she's well-suited to these types of dramas. Mo Lian Cheng is supposed to be cold or stiff, so nothing there to speak about; You can still see emotions from him in his expression and body language. I really enjoyed the story, and I laughed so much too. It's like "Oh My Emperor," also a web drama with a somewhat similar concept: https://kisskh.at/26812-oh-my-emperor

Li Cheng Yin is so horrible? how can I continue this...is this overrated?
Absolutely not overrated. If you like tragedies, this is one of the dramas I recommend (but this is the only tragic drama I've currently seen, so, the only one I *can* recommend). Well, actually, tragedy or no tragedy, this is one of the several dramas I've recommended to others :)

Title Princess Silver Spoiler
I dropped halfway...any motivation for me to continue? =_=
Fu Chou's revenge is all based on a lie, 'cause the REAL mastermind has been manipulating events for the last 2 decades, to wipe out the Zhongzheng bloodline (and it's not Lin Shen, but he knows the truth and he's evil. And it's not Emperor Qi, but he knows the truth too, however he's *not* evil). And Fu Chou is actually Wu You's fraternal twin brother, meaning he's a Zhongzheng too, which the mastermind is using as part of her revenge ever since he was born. As for Rong Le's memories, they tie in everything in the last few episodes (especially why Rong Le was *really* running away in the first episode's beginning.)

Title Princess Silver Spoiler
What is the relevance of the hair color change? HAHAHAHA
Rong Le was already poisoned (at the beginning of the drama) which was the same poison that affected Qi all his life, and the desserts that Qi gave Rong Le had medicine in it. So, being poisoned with the Scorpion Toxin and cured from that made her hair go white. Qi's mother told her: "You should have already been dead when you contacted the Scorpion Toxin. If Qi had not saved you by putting the medicine in your snacks to protect your heart, you wouldn't have gotten off with just white hair." |||~ As for Wu You, he took the Aging Frost poison to whiten his hair, because he wanted to protect Rong Le from the people who wanted Rong Le (who believed she was a demoness because of her white hair) dead.

Well, personally I don’t think Wei Wei ( love O2O) is a strong female lead. I would rather add Bai Qian from…
How isn’t Weiwei a strong female character? For me, a strong female character is someone...well, this article here puts it nicely >>> https://www.themarysue.com/strong-female-characters-over-it/ <<<
“I’ve always been on the team that used it to mean a female character who is strongly written. In this way, a ‘strong female character’ is a fully developed person, with their own motivations” and “...their physical strength has nothing to do with it, nor do their flaws. More often, though, SFC is used to describe a character who is physically strong, or maybe they’re aggressive or commanding or otherwise displaying characteristics we think of as being typically masculine.”

Even though Weiwei doesn’t have fighting skills in her real-life like her game avatar does, she’s still a strong character. Fighting skills are just physical, it has nothing to do with her as a person; however, intelligence and kindness is something else. There are many kinds of (non-physical) strengths.

And I LOVE Bai Qian, but to me, what makes her a strong character (among many other...*shrugs* “things”?) is her personality and she doesn’t let others walk all over her. Sure, it helps that she’s literally powerful, but her powers don’t define her or her value.

Anyone knows who the actor for Prince Zhen Bei is? He isn't listed in the cast here. :(
Yeah, he is. The actor's name is Xu Ke, and his character is Ning Qian Yi (Prince Zhen Bei).
