Same! I've rewatched it for so many times. This is honestly one of the few political dramas where the power struggles…
you worded it perfectly! those people saw each other truly and understood each other on the deepest of levels. were they both crazy? yes they were 😂 but they worked. also props to zhang linghe in this role. i don’t agree with the ‘bad acting’ comments here. i lived for his bombastic side eyes, permanent scowl and amazing robes. he managed to create a character that felt like a real person and i don’t think Xie Wei is a character i’d be forgetting anytime soon

what a masterful actor. i love the subtlety of his expressions. i had to rewind certain scenes just to see how expressions moved across his face. wish him continued success

He says that something should have been done since Lee Sun Kyun's suicide, but why doesn't he specifically say…
out of everything, i really agree with you on the mindset thing. i suppose there are ways that the collectivism of the society has helped establish structure but things can be good and also bad. this whole thing of having to carry the burden of total and complete responsibility to strangers simply because you act or sing is absurd. are politicians and civil servants held to the same standards? aren’t they the ones who are working for the people? it’s quite a trip

There is nothing in this article that insinuates or even pushes that narrative. I have no idea how you even came…
please rest. such a silly generalisation to say i see everything negatively when what im seeing is based off of the headline i read. so maybe i should have clarified that but the writer literally linked the two by herself in her heading 🙄

i loveeee this drama wow! 😭 some questions playing in my mind throughout this drama were
‘how far would you go for the one you love?’
‘would you burn the world for one person?’
‘where does love cross the lines and become a monster?’

of all the dramas i watched this year, this was a top-tier one. good use of all eps, and it stuck the landing so well! the acting was phenomenal( for everyone except 2FL unfortunately) and the OST was chef’s kiss. kudos to kim sejeong and kang tae-oh. the way they embodied their characters and mirrored each other was wonderful! i’m defo gonna rewatch 🥹

Totally agree. One thing I liked alot about K-dramas was that they were nearly all single season offerings. The…
oh for real? i loved both seasons a lot. it’s definitely a top tier kdrama for me in terms of consistency and i hope s3 is even better. i actually really love action 😅

I like Somin but i'm not a hardcore fan. In my humble opinion, she is as natural in romcom land , but not every…
would you marry me is such a cute drama though and it’s still quite enjoyable despite the clichés. isn’t that what drew people to kdramas in the first place? not every drama has to have an out of the world plot and it’s okay for you to watch what you like but to deem it a waste of talent is excessive

I thought SJK was done with the youth regression drama. Its starting to feel ludicrous.
it’s probably going to be hard cause he does look super young! 😂 must have taken a lot to make him feel even slightly intimidating in vincenzo cause in bogota and hopeless, he just looked like a boy lmao

It's not that Choo Young Woo looks old or anything, I just don't think he has the "aura" of a highschooler. Maybe…
he has always looked older. even in school 2021 he looked older. also he’s had a hard life so he definitely can’t even feel like a high schooler so much. if you think of it that way, he fits 😅
