How strange the world is... Kan's actions are portrayed as compassionate, kind, and saintly. Through the words…
I don't see Kan as faultless , not after what he did to Boss however I do understand to some extent his point of view in terms of the terminally ill patient's dignity and choice. I don't see Kan as a paragon of virtue nor do I see him as someone being a saint taking away pain setting these patients free. Having said all that I can't simply ignore his point of view either, because his views about the patient's right to choose also has some grounds to think about.
The scriptwriter mentioned that Thanapob suggested that this role would be fun if he had to duel with Aelm as Boss. Their scenes truly came out so well.
Has anyone read the novel and can tell me if it ends well?
He went to prison for 8 years , during that time Wasan had no contact with him After he is released, Wasan does forgive him, they are together. He is no longer a doctor as his license is taken away. He plans of opening a coffee shop. On e day he gets a mail about someone requesting Euthanasia and he shows that message to Wassan , and Wassan then asks " Aren't you going to help them?" That's how it ends in the book.
Kan def needs to serve prison time at least for killing Boss. Kan should also reveal he euthanized Wasan's mom. A relationship can't last on the basis of lies. I am hoping he gets some punishment and I hope maybe in time Wasan can forgive him. I will wait and see if they do these things or not. Personally I feel these two points definitely need to be addressed and I am okay with a BE if that's where it leads to. It would still be a drama that I absolutely love from the bottom of my heart. One of the best dramas of my 2024 list for sure.
Just saw this clip of their workshop tape, that scene hasn't come up on the show yet. The way Tor was crying in that workshop scene, I wonder how the final scene would be 😭
That Tor/JJ fight scene from In Family We Trust.
