what makes In Hee really want Gae In to be sad and unhappy?
I think she explains in the later episodes that In Hee lost her parents in an accident or something similar and after she gets to live with Gae In, she thinks Gae In gets everything without moving a finger so she's jealous of her. This jealousy and curiosity causes the snatching of Han Chang Ryul and then her interest in Jeon Jin Ho.
I just finished episode 9 and wow what a big mess this drama is! Boo Cheon keeping his relationship with Yoon Seo Won and his son while pretending to be the loving husband to Mo Hyun, and Pil Joo being stuck with his feelings for Mo Hyun all these years while the Biggest IDIOT of all dramas Miss Na Mo Hyun doesn't sense any other persons feelings! she can't feel Pil Joo's love for her after all these years and neither can she understand that her husband is being sneaky or doesn't really have her in his heart and to top it off, she's the nosiest person in the whole drama, helping her husband's ex-gf all the way and being so friendly with her! she's just useless, writer-nim this sort of female lead character is just pure annoying!
Have you watched Ashes of Love? ML is completely gone very early on, and he's just so passionate. Then also Moon…
No, I wouldn't recommend it. It was just okay, and the second half made me angry above everything else. If you want to waste your time while waiting for something better, that's the drama you can watch :D :D That's the drama which made me promise myself not to go near any drama with Zanilia Zhao as the main actress ever again! I was frustrated by The princess Wei young as well, you might say they have the same amount of unreasonable painful events and things that'll make you angry. Hope this helps :)

Yup, I just finished Ashes of Love but the female lead seemed annoying to me. I tolerated it all the way to the end just because of that scorching HOT male lead but next thing I know, he's busy with his son and won't even glance at his woman anymore. The chemistry was just not there, even from the start, even when you consider that the female lead was incapable of love and .....and the most important thing is that Deng Lun was so childish, losing all his personality just because his love is not there. But in Eternal Love you see a mature man (Mark Chao) who continues his duties and life as the crown prince despite being separated from his love, They're just incomparable IMO. Moon Embracing the sun is one of my all time favourite historical dramas but then again, the female lead was just not the right choice for it. I seem to be a bit picky about female leads LOL, no one can compare to my dearest Yang Mi <3 <3 <3 I've also watched Journey of a flower, Legend of Fu Yao, Moon Lovers and I'm in the middle of Bloody Romance. Thank you for the recommendations anyway.
Ok, so Kim Hong Do loves his pupil but what happens in the scene where he says "I can't lose you"? Why does Shin Yun bok walk away and end up sitting half naked in the middle of the yard after all that struggle with him? Was Kim Hong Do unwilling to make love to her? or was she raped but it just wasn't shown? I also don't understand why Kim Hong Do said that he stole her innocence and couldn't protect her when he was being interrogated in the prison...he might have stolen her innocence but it wasn't his place to protect her anyway, or was it? anyway I'm a bit confused because the story wasn't told in a complete way (maybe because of the time limit in a movie?)
OMG!!! >---< The Eternal Love GIF! I can watch it for an hour and not get tired of it!! <3 <3 I'm searching for historical dramas with stories similar to The Eternal Love and Bloddy Romance but I can't find anything, and yes, the more intense the love of male and female lead are, the more I scream inside, so please do recommend me some!
I agree with most of them especially the Yang Mi part! god, she was born to be the queen of wuxia, but generally speaking, none of her works can beat Eternal Love in my opinion, and that's because in Eternal Love it's not just her efforts which has made a great drama (which is the case in most of her works!) but the combined efforts of her and the main actor who is so charismatic and has a very strong yet gentle character. I'll try to watch these dramas you've recommended, they seem interesting!
Excellent. My favorite drama of all time. I watched it 2 years ago and still haven't found any other romantic…
Me too!! I'm re-watching it now and wow! I forgot how much I liked this. Watching more crappy dramas in these two years made me cherish this drama more! I love Eric's character so much, I'm seriously considering going into the drama and stealing him to real life! His acting in here is so lovable, and I have watched another drama from him (Myung Wol Spy) but he's just different in here <3
The more I watch him, the more I can't resist his every moves!! He's Charming, Manly, Handsome and shows love and affection so realistically that you would get jealous of the female leads! We need more human beings like him in real life!
I actually liked the "going back and forth", I know it's a cliche and it repeated too many times but I don't mind it, because I think relationships can get as messy as that , although some of the twists and things that happened were unnecessary, oh and I haven't finished it yet so I can't give my opinion about the so called "awful ending" ! :D
see , this is one of those dramas that u actually don't expect anything much from it and then it turns out to…
Yup, I started this drama not expecting much as well, but it surprised me with the strong chemistry, Eric's acting and the strongest second lead syndrome of all times T-T !! Can we talk about how manly and charming Eric is!? The more I watch him, the more I want to steal him and keep him for myself!!! (fangirl shrieking!) and I agree with Sammyx3, it's ridiculously idiotic and stupid and ridiculously addicting at the same time so you watch it while cursing yourself (that's what I did :D)!
so realistic it hurts too much. first hand experience. hahahawhy is it that when girls fall in love we really…
I feel ya! It really does hurt! I had really high hopes that they'd come together in the end but from the real life point of view, he was chained up to that awful life so badly that he wouldn't dare break free. As we hear it in a part of the movie He is a shy person and very vague as well, he can't decide and come clean with having feelings for another woman. When he saw the woman's family, he started hesitating. The more we see this couple, the more we see love and determination in the woman's eyes and more hesitation in the man's. I'm not satisfied with the ending, but that's real life and it's unfair.
What I love about Jdramas is that even if it might show very abnormal values and series of events as normal and promote some insane behaviours as sane ones which occur because of the characters' circumstances, it won't end like that. As much interesting as those different worlds are, they are fragile as well. So in the end you get back to the real life norms and life style. Not only that, but you get life lessons (and deep ones at that) as well. Not forgetting to take the audience back to the real world and showing them the joys of life is what makes me Love Jdramas, Animes and Mangas so much, and that's what you see here as well, Even though I do agree that the villain and the Main actor's problems seem to have been solved and faded away easier than I expected, but I did enjoy this short series overall.
This one is one of those dramas that you've gotta give it some time to see the better/best parts. The first episodes are weird and the characters' personalities seem to be unbearable, But it gets really good after a few episodes. It has an old drama feeling and a very simple yet charming and attractive plot, a cute fairytale. I cried and laughed a lot while watching it. It might seem to have some unnecessary parts but it actually adds to the beauty of the overall story. It's been a while since I've watched older dramas and I enjoyed it very very much. Nomu nomu nomu nomu chuahe <3 <3
If there are subs out there will someone inform me? Cuz I'm dying to watch more of todome no kiss and I heard…
It is! The Ending was definitely more satisfying than the original one. Oh how I wish I could see more of Saiko and Otaro <3 A whole hour episode of how they get united would be totally awesome T-T
ever since they are teamed up say episode 3 or 4. you can go back as many weeks as you want (until the cruise…
Same, same! I thought he could endure it for three months and get back to the wedding event or just a bit sooner than that, but then he wouldn't be erasing the wrong choices he made and start a new path, he would just continue being greedy, only saving his loved one while he's stuck with Mikoto and made a mess out of everyone's life. So he needed to go back immediately.
mysecretsoul explained my feeling so well in the review section that I don't need to add anything! The story had a lot of potential but most of it has gone to waste. Do they expect us to wait for the second season? This was a mix of Etenral Love (as they tried to depict the lives of goddesses and demons) and a failed attempt of remaking something as remarkable as The Master's Sun. I wished and prayed for Oh Yeon Seo to be a good female lead but nope, she shattered all my hopes to pieces!
I was frustrated by The princess Wei young as well, you might say they have the same amount of unreasonable painful events and things that'll make you angry. Hope this helps :)
