I usually can't rewatch a show after only 8 months, this one I could and enjoyed it even more than the first time…
That's me after finishing this drama a month ago. I'm listening to the OST and all I can think about is how much I want to re watch the drama T-T I need a second season or something to soothe these lingering feelings for YWCFTS!
This many famous actors in a drama tend to make overrating happen :D I agree. It might be because of Goblin fans,…
I have a bit of mixed feelings about this and I think how they end this drama, will play a big part in my final and overall impression of it. I think each of Goblin and Hwayugi have their own charms. In Goblin, the main character is almost the most powerful being in the whole universe and we don't get to see much of the Higher up people the way we see them in Hwayugi. That makes The Heavens decision more inflexible and absolute. But in Hwayugi, there are many things and people which can cause the most powerful beings to fall in an instant and you get to see the childishness and aimlessness of deities and demons more, as there are a lot of them with loads of stories connecting them to each other. So I can't say which one I like more for now.
I must say it's an addicting drama indeed but in my opinion it's very overrated
This many famous actors in a drama tend to make overrating happen :D I agree. It might be because of Goblin fans, considering that it feels like a remake of that drama.
It really bothers me that as a young teen she has been in romantic roles with men much older than her.
That's even more annoying that there's no kissing scene. the dramas are already so careful with these sorts of things, so taking away the kissing scenes is like taking away the audience's last ray of hope! T-T she should enjoy the dramas that fit her age better. She has a lot of time to do those passionate and romance dramas later.
Boring. There is so little going on between leads... only who kills who, i can't kill you coz i love you, I can't…
I agree. First they waste too many episodes fighting enemies which are gotten rid of too easily and effortlessly. They should've brought a strong, frightening and sexy villain a whole lot sooner. The romance between main leads is going so slow that I'm starting to become a granny. Then every episode you have this scene where Ma Wang gets to see his lover, cries and can't do anything about it. And can't they do anything about Sam Jang being so useless!? she's supposed to have some powers to show off, not just a meal, ready to be eaten by demons! Even the Summer fairy said she's like a shaman, but she's nowhere near AhSanyeo. Seriously, this plot is the same as Goblin, with worse actors and worse progress.
You can't deny the fact that the ending of this drama was really rushed. Kdramas need at least 2 to 3 episodes to end everything well, but Jdramas can do that in a single episode. Trying to imitate Jdramas and wrapping everything up in a single episode made a mess out of the ending. Still, I enjoyed it so much because the whole drama felt closer to Jdramas and the manga, which makes you more excited and it becomes more fun to watch, so there's no more complaints from me
This drama is asking for a second season! I need to see more of Kang Do Yeong and Ha Woo Jin <3 <3 Both are tall and sexy!! I envy Kim So Eun, being able to act alongside two model-like actors T-T.
Not even a second does this drama get boring or draggy and that's very rare! Awesome cast, awesome chemistry and all those feelings! It's one of the best dramas I've ever watched! I just hope we can get a second season after Kim Soo Hyun oppa comes back from military service <3 <3
Happy or sad ending? Few comments online mentioned displeasure with the ending..no spoilers please
When I first read your comment I thought that the drama will end with her waiting for Do Min Joon and just getting hints of him returning but nothing else. When he appeared on the red carpet I cried HEAPS and was really surprised! It's a happy ending for me , as you said he is trying his best and that's good enough. The only disappointing part is not being able to see their 7 children and 5 dogs and all!! :D :D
I dropped this drama about two years ago, I just couldn't understand or relate with Chun Song Yi and I thought she was overreacting to everything, but after watching it now, I don't understand how I couldn't relate with her at all! As you get older, your taste and way of seeing things changes so much, don't you think? (I feel like I'm turning into a grandma now!! :)) ) One more thing, you might think Kim Soo Hyun has and average height but every single cast in this drama is so tall, they can become a freaking model! Jun Ji Hyun: 173, Kim Soo Hyun: 180, Park Hae Jin: 186 and Shin Sung Rok: 187!!!
This is such a realistic drama and it leaves a very strong impact, so it's natural that some will love it and some will hate it. I'm on the first group, even though I don't remember the last 3,4 episodes and I think it got draggy in the end, everything else was awesome and it left such a good impression on me, I'll start watching it again whenever I have time. But anyway you look at it, the rating is really unfair, it's underrated!
OMG! I'm at episode 18 and how cute can a person get!!?? Do Min Joon's confused face after he woke up in Song Yi's bed was too cute! my heart exploded! <3 <3 To be honest, I don't want to continue watching it, because I know there'll be more heartbreaking scenes with rivers of tears, but I can't stop myself! Do Min Joon is too cute and so good at expressing his feelings and I can relate to Chun Song Yi so much, I can't watch them suffer so much T-T! and did I mention the OSTs!? gosh I cried so much more because of these songs!
This is the first time in my life I'm watching an episode raw and I've been watching dramas for more than 3 years…
Your profile pic is ADORABLE <3 <3 <3 also I almost did the same in these past few weeks but I held myself back everytime! T-T Now the suffering is over!
