Ahh, I knew you'd be doing one of these someday. =) With this article I've realised I've watched more of his movies…
I've got to admit you're thorough, but it can't have been that much of a hardship, watching everything Iura Arata possible. ;)
There are some dramas from my early days I'll never rewatch, because I know I'll get a completely different feeling from them. I think everybody must go through that "falling in love" with J-drama/entertainment, when everything is shiny and new. xD
I hope you enjoy the book. It's short but unsettling.

What other countries were you thinking of adding?

Hm, I've never been called anything here before, but I don't like my name so you can't call me that. xD You can call me neiges I guess. "femme" would be a bit strange. xD I'm okay, how are you? You seem to watch more Japanese drama than anything else.

It's pretty good as a specific blog, but I guess it can't hurt to try it out?

With this article I've realised I've watched more of his movies than dramas. I think the only drama I've seen him in is Mitsu no Aji. (I'm one of those that couldn't feel any romantic chemistry between the main couple. They truly felt like uncle and niece.) I do need to see Snakes and Earrings. I love the novel and I got the impression it would translate well onto screen.

Thanks for the concern. I did like what I saw by the way.

I was actually leaving to go to a class at the time. But I wasn't late, so it's all good. =D
A lot of Japanese comedy drama reminds me of the Carry On films. Stereotypical roles, often situational, slapstick, cheeky if not totally risqué, plus the Japanese love for word games and puns.

I like it. I started watching just thinking, Jidaigeki and Tackey, but it's good. Sort of historical murder mystery with light comedy. For tone I'd say something like Murdoch Mysteries, if you've ever seen that.

I come across more Arashi fans than anything else. I guess I was more recognisable as a K8 fan when I had my Subaru avatar. Though nobody seemed to know who he was. xD I should put pictures in my profile or something.
Someone should write one of these for Japanese variety.
Ahh, you should. =) I like hearing about which Japanese shows other people watch.

The only films I can watch over and over are All About Lily Chou-Chou and Rebel Without a Cause.
I forgot about Pandora! Apparently they've blocked anything not the US, NZ or Australia now. Coincidentally, Pandora is how I discovered John Zorn.

Movies are shorter I guess. Everybody does say it's good.
I can't go out the door without music. I don't even care what kind, so long as it's not Justin Bieber or anything John Zorn's involved with or whatever.

You should be able to quote it by now. xD
Detective dramas are all the same to me so the comedy needs to be good for it to work.
Makes a change to listen to actual music for once.

Rewatching like over and over? xD
Well, one to watch at least. There's a detective comedy every damn season though.
Lol, they were one of those crappy indie bands I listened to years ago. They were hyped but they never released their debut album. So obviously now I'm looking up all these old bands and omg, my favourite of the lot got back together! I have no idea where their CD is though. It's 4am but I'm gonna hunt it down.
