Ataru's scenes with adult Madoka were out of character. I don't see why his ability to communicate would be any…
I'd like to see another one. It doesn't show "everyday" autism, and the savantism is still somewhat fetishised and "put to use", but it does show an autistic character surrounded by loving and supportive people. I appreciate that.
I couldn't think of a better way to say that you don't need to tell me autistic people have feelings. ;) Didn't mean to imply you were out of line or anything; you certainly were not. :)

I'm autistic, so there's no need to preach to the converted. :P
The problem I had here is, I couldn't see the "love" between Ataru and Madoka. And that's because 1. Madoka was a badly-written character, and 2. Maki is a shit actress. For me, Larry represented a familiarity and constant for Ataru that he couldn't find in anyone else. For better or worse.
It was a disappointing end to a fair series. I still wish I hadn't watched it, tbh.
1. I don't watch K-dramas because the actors aren't as ugly as Japanese actors. :(
5. Personally I don't need escapism, and Japanese dramas are especially good at highlighting societal issues. Can't say the same about K-drama.
6. Japan doesn't shove romance where it isn't needed.
7. Janiwota represent! Some idols are good actors, but sometimes "idol dramas", with the fanservice and bad acting, are good for what they are. I'm not an AKB48 fan but Mendol is one of my favourite dramas. The personality and cuteness of the girls really shone through the comedy. Put a bunch of "real" actresses in those roles and it would lose most of its charm. And classic dramas like Nobuta would lose a lot without the idol power of the leads. I know everyone complained about NTV's Johnny's Jr. slot, but it produced two great Nojima Shinji dramas, plus some good crack like Heisei Busaiku Salaryman.

I like you. ;)
We all have different rating systems. What's the problem?

I like this comment. He does have a dumb smile. It doesn't even reach his vacant eyes. :P
The Book of Genesis rewritten by an otaku pervert who specialises in magical girl anime and has a fetish for lesbian torture porn.
In a good way.

There was a time when Yamapi looked exactly like Jae Joong.
J-actor example: I think Kagawa Teruyuki is friggin adorable but my mother says he must've ran face-first into an alligator's mouth.
