Seriously, who allowed someone like Chao Planoy to write about a heavy subject like this in a GL? She doesn't…
Totally agree. The first time I read Genlong's thoughts on their first time, I wanted to kill myself. I really hope that just like you said, the screenwriters are able to improve it and write about it in a respectful way.
I love Ai-oon and May so, so much, I literally think about them 24/7. Now that we know Oom is going to wake up in the next episode, I'm not sure I'm ready for all the drama and heartbreak that await us. And to think they could have solved all this if only they had talked with each other. I just hope they don't save all the drama for last and the last two episodes end up being rushed. That is literally my biggest fear. Please Pluto, don't disappoint me. π
OMG, I'm literally obsessed with them! Ai-oon killed me in this episode, she is so dumb! Girl, you are literally jealous of yourself. It gave me Ongsa vibes. π
Ummm, I'm not really feeling this at the moment, although I can't really explain why because I was very excited about it at first. I'll keep watching and supporting it, of course, I know in the beginning it is always easy to judge first and jump at conclusions. Let's see how this develops.
I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did but I completely fell in love with those two, especially Kenlong. I mean, how can you not fall in love with her? I usually don't like relationships that are way too rushed but I think in this story, it makes sense. I look forward to seeing more of them and how their relationship evolves. I don't agree with some people who say the main actresses do not have chemistry because I can see it but chemistry and the way we look at it is just subjective. What works for me may not work for other people. However, although I do like the show, I still hate the book and I advise everyone to be careful while reading the novel. I actually read some of the parts and I was shocked. Chao Planoy is definitely not a normal person and I hope her novels soon stop getting adapted to the screen. This novel is a whole different kind of a red flag. The way Ken talks about Aoey when they have sex and the things she thinks, for example, "I understand why men abuse women", "I understood Aoey's stepfather", oh my God. Please give me a gun. Chao Planoy is so messed up.
I didn't expect it but I actually liked the first episode. A lot. The only thing I have to address is the story looks very much like GAP, as in that you have a very wealthy woman who comes from a homophobic family who wants her to find a wealthy husband too and get married. The story just gets kind of old and repetitive, you know.
I read the novel spoilers and now I'm scared about this series. There's nothing wrong with adding a character with past sexual abuse but the way it's written it is disgusting and disrespectful. I hope we don't get the handcuffs scene, although from the pilot trailer, it's hard to believe that. It does not surprise me this is a Chao Planoy novel, she's a horrible writer and she must have some kind of problem, that is the only explanation on why she writes some of the things she does. I hope the producers/writers tone it down a bit or it will be very hard to like this, at least for me.
