Is it totally diff than series like forceful?? is it okay for u to spoil about that scene in novel?
It is indeed very different. I was one of the people who were worried about this scene but the writers did very well and the scene turned out to be beautiful and romantic. Gen is very, very different from the novel too. She's more understanding and pure.

Yeah, he definitely died. Gen was the one who asked her uncle to kill him, although it was done a little bit differently…
I hated the book but I wanted to know more about the story so I kinda forced myself to read it. If you want to know anything else, let me know!

They do! Genlong leaves but only for 3 years. She returns when Aoey is about to get married which she's only doing to get back at Gen.

In the book, Gen actually goes to the hotel to confront Aoey's stepdad and then asks her uncle to kill him after. She gets disgusted and angry by the photos, the room and all the mirrors and cameras. And yes, this is why they run away. Because Gen or her uncle, I'm not sure now, is caught on the CCTV camera. So, since her family is being investigated, they have to run away. Initially, Gen is supposed to go to Macau with her family but she runs away with Aoey instead because she can't leave her. They go to a remote place but they have no money because all of Gen's money has been withdrawn from her bank account. Since Aoey has to work hard (Gen caughts her working in construction) and Gen sees her struggling so much and thinks she's affecting her future, she leaves her. But before leaving her, Gen makes sure Aoey has everything she needs to be successful in the future. She calls her mom, she leaves her money to finish her studies and publish her book and advises her mom to let her see a psychiatrist and get help.

Did the step dad really die?? We didn’t see it, only heard it and there’s still so many more eps left. Curious…
Yeah, he definitely died. Gen was the one who asked her uncle to kill him, although it was done a little bit differently in the series. That choice is going to have consequences which will be their next issue.

It is very different from the novel. In the novel, the scene is agressive and Gen acts like an uncontrollable animal. These are some of her thoughts while they're having sex: "I now understood men who abused women. I wouldn't treat her like that, but it felt good and I was so much better than that old bastard", "I felt like a hungry animal that doesn't let anyone touch its food" and "I didn't know who I was anymore. I could be worse than Aoey's stepfather when it came to my sexual instinct". In the series, while the handcuffs were still questionable, it was done in a very good way, it was beautiful and romantic. Gen was also kind and gentle.

I thank those screenwriters SO much for making the changes necessary for us to be able to like this story. I hated the intimate scene in the book but in the series I loved it. Gen... She was gentle, kind and respectful. The scene felt beautiful and romantic, definitely not like in the novel. I hope the writers keep making those changes because a story like this needs to be told with the respect it deserves.

I finished reading this novel yesterday and it is one of the worst things I've ever read, even worse than Blank. This Chao Planoy girl needs intervention and possibly therapy because if all series followed her story exactly like she writes it in the book, it wouldn't have been so famous, let's be honest. I sincerely hope they change a lot from the book too or I can't see myself liking it. Genlong, even after having been far away from Aoey all that time, still acts like a child, denying her feelings, sleeping with men... And the letter she leaves for Aoey is just spiteful. If she doesn't show some kind of character development in the series, it will be very hard to root for those two.

You're confusing this series with "Us" which will premiere in GMMTV. This is the story of Genlong and Aoey and…
I didn't know that. It's kinda weird, in GAP they also changed the names of the characters. Cher and Risa were supposed to be Genlong and Aoey.

the show deviates quite a lot from the novel (in a good way) so it wont be useful for reference, like for example…
I knew about that part in the novel, of May pretending to be blind. I was just wondering if in the novel, Oom also lost her memories or was pretending as well. Because it sure did seem that way in the episode. Thank you anyway!

Apart from the secondary couple, which I don't really care about, this GL is a masterpiece until now. Amazing chemistry, amazing storyline, amazing acting and amazing soundtrack. Namtan and Film did an amazing job and they made me fell in love with them. I haven't felt this way about a GL in a long time.

Anyone who has read the novel: can you tell me if Oom is pretending she lost her memories or wasn't that in the novel?

It's clearly Pam and Dokrak, Why did they change the names? I'm so confused.

What did he say?
I think OP is talking about when Great said he wanted to have sex with Aoey and c*m inside her... It's really disgusting and gross.

I liked the episode but I understand the frustration with it since there was basically no real development from the last episode to this one. But in the book, the game of making each other jealous takes several chapters and so much time that it starts to get annoying and unfortunately, they seem to be following the novel religiously. I think it will turn around in the next episode, though.

Totally agree. The first time I read Genlong's thoughts on their first time, I wanted to kill myself. I really…
During their first time, when Genlong handcuffs Aoey to the bed because she has a panic attack when she discovers Gen knows the truth about the abuse, they have sex after. On the book, Genlong, while they're doing it, is thinking some disturbing things and I'll quote it directly: "I now understood men who abused women. I wouldn't treat her like that, but it felt good and I was so much better than that old bastard", "I felt like a hungry animal that doesn't let anyone touch its food" and "I didn't know who I was anymore. I could be worse than Aoey's stepfather when it came to my sexual instinct". Disgusting.
