Whether or not LX did it for love doesn't absolve FZJ of his wrongdoing. During many such competitions the rules state that the contestants and sponsors/organizers cannot meet. No need for anyone to hear anything. Just seeing the clip is enough. How can anyone not find anything wrong in his action? The sponsor created a new award just to benefit him and he didn't even deserve it coz his codes had flaws in them. He deserved the humiliation.

Let's not forget that Gao also recorded the whole thing. He just didn't use it. Knowing Gao, he probably would have used it blackmail FZJ. If you watch again carefully, Gao wasn't at all happy that LX exposed FZJ, like he had lost some opportunity there.

The difference between LX with Gao and FZJ is that whatever LX did was due to his good intentions. Gao and FZJ on the other hand acted with malicious intentions. He never wanted to harm his friends or benefit from them. If he took part in the competition, it's because ZY requested him. If he exposed FZY, it's because FZY cheated. FZY harmed ZY's friend deliberately. FZY involved LX's sister in his revenge plan and that too when she was under recovery from her surgery. Gao did the same and involved LX's sister in his revenge plan when she had nothing to do with any of this.

You are blaming LX for catching a thief. The thief is at fault here. Not the person who caught the thief.

Yes, all those are probabilities but you're blaming LX for things he did without malicious intentions. What you said in your previous post is that LX deserves what happened to him because he was being arrogant. He may be generally arrogant but he wasn't acting out of arrogance here. He acted out of concern for his friend. He didn't deserve any of it at all because FZJ was at fault from the start and LX did nothing wrong by exposing him.

You're forgetting why ZY originally asked him to do this. She wanted justice for her friend. FZJ made that poor girl suffer public humiliation, made her a subject of mockery in front of the whole school and led her to take that step. ZY in very clear terms told LX that she hated FZJ and did not want to see him get away unpunished for the second time. So whether LX did it 'for love', it was still technically justice.

Also, there is no guarantee that if LX took it up with the authorities, they would have actually punished him. If one sponsor is corrupt, what's the guarantee that others aren't? They may have covered it up to save their own face and make sure their competition doesn't lose credibility, or FZJ's family would have made them cover it up. LX just took the approach that would be the most effective.

Let me just add that LX did not only reveal the fact that FZY met up with the sponsors privately, but he also proved that FZJ did not deserve his award at all. His program had errors.

You can't be serious. LX was trying to protect Gao. It probably wasn't the smartest thing to go and talk to FZJ at that point, but FZY wanted revenge all along. If LX hadn't apologized, FZJ would have figured out some other way and he had already collected information about LX. Gao not being able to go for his MS was sad, but saying LX deserves what happened to him is honestly quite shocking.

Yes, exactly. He should have discussed things with but he didn't know any better. He was always used to relying on himself, so he didn't know how to discuss things with other people. His life situations made him that way.

You can't just give on something like that. The method of his revenge was wrong. But any person would want to punish FZJ if they were in his position. You can't forget your love for person because you love another, especially if it's a family.

What he did was wrong but you have to understand his state of mind as well. From his POV he was trying to protect her by distancing himself from her. He didn't know any better at that point. He was devastated and the law couldn't punish the person responsible for the loss of his sister. He dealt with it the best way he knew.

I don't see a problem here. She is asking for help as a friend.

And what type of shit is she letting him get away with? She isn't giving any hopes to the family friend character either. They are friends since childhood so they hang out. He knows she has a boyfriend but is still hopeful she might eventually break up with LX. He is just waiting for his chance. That's totally on him. Not at all ZY's fault.

FZJ wanted LX to apologize to him but LX wouldn't do that, so he went and apologized to the organizers instead. But since he technically admitted that he did cause a disruption at the event despite being a contestant, their award was revoked. It was more of a disciplinary action. Even three years ago when LX exposed FZJ and the sponsor, he was told that the manner in which he exposed FZJ was not right, but I guess they didn't revoke their award at that time because it was a shameful incident for the organizers and doing that would probably anger other contestants coz everyone hailed LX as hero at that time. But LX admitting his fault and apologizing gave them the opportunity.
