I watched TLB first, started watching LLTG even before I completed TLB but after completing LLTG, I am rewatching…
Yes, I have watched all their bts and TLB related interviews/contents. This drama and their respective characters are bound to leave a deep impression on them.
Isn't LOA & Lighter and princess the ones which finished filming first among them? I would hope they will follow…
It is getting ridiculous. TTEOM is a xianxia but youku has already released character posters and what not, so it's possible that they've actually finished the post production work and want to air it first. Xianxia or not, will they drop all three costume dramas at once? I also read a couple of days that TLP actually doesn't have a distribution license yet so it might actually air 2023 .Not sure how true this. I have no idea about LOA's distribution license either coz there doesn't seem to be any confirmation. I wonder if both Tencent and Youku are just waiting for the other to drop their big dramas first?

Yes I think they did. But just today I saw some melons that both TTEOTM and BFTB got distribution license and will most likely air in Nov. If all the dramas got licenses then logically the ones that finished filming first should air first, but you never know with youku.
How many dramas are youku going to air in Q4? According to melons, LOA. TTEOTM, Back from the Brink, Lighter and Princess all are scheduled for Nov. Three of these are costume dramas.
Contrary to many peoples here I would like LOA to air next year instead my attention is focused on Silent, forbidden…
I'll be fully focused on LOA as well. I have been waiting for this drama from it's pre-production days, ever since it was announced GJ and Reba will star in it and it was originally meant to air this year anyway. The only thing they need to remove is the filter and work on the CGI a bit more. People already complained about the filter and they took note of it, so I hope they'll get rid of it. After the trailer was released they have had enough time to work on those aspects, so I am expecting a better finished product.
Watching this after Love Like the Galaxy. I like that drama but I'm very surprise that I like Long Ballad more.…
I watched TLB first, started watching LLTG even before I completed TLB but after completing LLTG, I am rewatching TLB now. I enjoyed LLTG too but I moved on from it as soon as it finished. I just can’t move on from TLB. I totally regret not watching it last year when it was airing. I missed out so much.
Changge and Asun’s love story is one of the very best I have ever seen. You don’t get to see such a healthy depiction of romance that often. You’re right, it’s the small gestures and even in the most unexpected situations, where they are standing far apart as in the Shouzhou battle, you can feel the intensity.
I also love Ashile Sun more than Ling Buyi. LBY is a well-etched character no doubt, and Leo was superb in it but his performance as Ashile Sun is on another level. His acting here is very, very subtle and I feel Leo’s performance of Ashile Sun is very much underrated. He lived and breathed as Asun throughout the drama and he really deserves more praise for this role. I love Changge so much as well.
I love all the scenes you mentioned. I even love their spat in epi 21. I mean it’s not even a romantic scene, they are just arguing but I was rewatching that epi just yesterday and I replayed that part 3-4 times. Reba and Leo's chemistry is sublime.
I also didn’t like the anime parts, though it worked in some places so I kinda got used to it later, but for the last epi, I wish they had given us more of the actual fighting. I guess this is an experiment which worked for some and didn’t work for some. I didn’t mind that Changge and Asun weren’t in the same frame in the last epi because we already know that they are together but I can see why a lot of viewers may have been confused.
Can somehow tell me how Adou's character shapes up in the manhua? I am aware that he's alive in the manhua, so does he go the grasslands with Changge? And what happens with Changge and Sun? I know the manhua is still incomplete, but I am curious about their relationship because I read some contradicting stuff. I once read that they get separated and go the different places and a few days ago I read that they actually get married. That made me confused.
I am rewatching this and epis 13, 14 and 15 still look just as intense as it did the first time. The emotional impact of these episodes are huge. The battle scene of Shouzhou is nothing short of epic. The direction, cinematography is breathtaking and the acting is top notch and Changge and Asun's scenes still gave me goosebumps.
