I just finished Heroes which I absolutely loved and now I feel empty. I need something to fill the void and I am thinking of trying this one. Can someone spoil a few things for me? HE or BE? I know it's not wuxia but are there enough fighting/action scenes or is it just a lot of scheming? Which epi does LYN's character appear first?
Yes its seems their priority is set on Till the end of the moon than LOA. I'm seeing rumors for its airing date…
This situation is quite baffling to me. They filmed LOA first, so logically it should come first. Is Youku trying to hold back LOA because it's big and they are waiting for some 'perfect time' to air it?
Looking at it on the bright side less hype mean less expectations and I think it's good to start a drama without…
Yes you have a point here. The acting, story, script, directing etc are the things that matter the most. It's just pretty frustrating to wait. I hope we at least here some news about the airing date soon.

I guess your right but I am surprised to see Youku's lack of promotions for it compared to other dramas. And they have two big stars here so why not utilize it? Did they promote TBW beforehand or they just aired it? I didn't follow the drama so I don't know.
Do the main characters start out already strong or do they slowly develop their skills throughout the drama?
Depends on who you call main character. The main posters show only three of them but there are actually five main characters and several others important supporting characters. The five main characters are all friends but they are at different stages due to age and experience. But the three MLs have great martial art skills right from the beginning.
Seriously, what is Youku doing? No trailer yet and nothing. I thought it was suppose to air after Immortal Samsara and that drama is going to air soon. Didn't they release a trailer and MV for Immortal Samsara months ago? They should at least give us one trailer by now. They even released tons of bts stuff for Till the end of moon with Luo Yunxi and Bailu while they were still filming to hype it up coz they are a popular cp. But with LOA all we got were a few posters and bunch of leaks. Despite starring two huge traffic stars as leads LOA is losing it's hype. How much longer do we have to wait? It's like they don't even care that they have Gong Jun and Dilraba as leads.
Does Wang Xiao Shi become powerful as the episodes go by ? I’m sure you finished if you don’t mind telling…
No I haven't finished it yet, two more episodes to go. He does become more powerful. This is basically WXS journey as the drama starts with WXS stepping out in jianghu for the first time. He grows and learns as the story progresses.
It's said by SMZ (after BCF was dead) that BCF's life was full of lies. All of his life he used a lot of aliases.…
Yes even BCF wasn't his real name. That actually makes the character really intriguing for me. Why didn't he ever use his really identity? What was his thoughts behind it?
Having a strong supporting cast is definitely a plus.
Since BCF and WXS were in the jail together, BCF showed that his will is not as strong as WXS. So it’s understandable…
Yes, he definitely wasn't as strong willed but only WXS had witnessed it. It was basically the worst idea for him to go there for the second time instead of SMZ. But sadly no one else had any idea and he volunteered to do it. WXS being around could have prevented it but I also wonder how he would have reacted if found out the SMZ had actually planned to make WXS his successor. He knew SMZ favoured WXS but I don't think he knew the full extent of it.
BCF is so full of lies. He can and try and justify as much as he want, but whether WXS is alive or not he would have turned bad regardless. It was just a matter of time. During his fight with SMZ he even blamed SMZ for favouring WXS over him, that makes it clear he was even envious of WXS. It's just that he never had much reason to be jealous of WXS besides this. Otherwise he would have resented WXS just as much as SMZ. WXS is the 'brother' he likes because that brother had nothing he wanted to covet, not the young master title of a big family, not the leader of a big sect, not the girl he loves...nothing. WXS wasn't even ambitious and that saved him from BCF's resentment. People's true nature come out when they are faced with hardships, WXS faced a lot of hardships too, albeit differently, but his heart never changed.
Epi 36: Now that he can't find SMZ, his 'wife' is gone and even WXS is alive and well, he seems to be regretting a bit even if it's for a few moments, but that's less regret and more of a calculation of what he had actually lost and gained because he quickly went back to being his evil self. As much as tries to pretend everything is in his control, it's not.
XY and WXS hug as well as Wu Xie's scene with SMZ's robe was really emotional. Zeng Yi Xuan and Yu Bin acted really well. This drama has a solid supporting cast.
Seeing how gorgeous and ethereal Gong Jun is in his first Xianxia drama, Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Yue Hong, likes…
Gong Jun is so gorgeous in this look. Wow. It's not just the styling, his aura is totally different here from Wen Kexing and Han Ye. The costumes look great too. I am excited.
SMZ you legend. He's not the most worthy martial artists in Jianghu for no reason. It's not just his martial arts skills but he is a master strategist too. Basically he just planned out the whole thing, made everyone leave the house with some excuse, so that he could save all of them and stayed their alone. Even when his body is on the verge of giving out his mind doesn't give out. BCF thought he was playing him but got played instead. BCF you're no match for your former big bro. Baron Chen's acting was incredible in this epi. Joseph was very good in the crying scene too. Rip DFJ. He was saved as a child by the Lei family from the snow and now he died in the snow protecting the Lei family. It was like a full circle for him.
The prologue seems to take place about decade after the events in the drama. Are we to assume that's Wen Rou in…
I have not seen the ending yet but there is a theory that it's SMZ and BCF's ashes in the box. WXS carries his brothers with him wherever he goes. He does say that Wen Rou is the most important person to him, but from his actions we can tell that his brothers are equally important. But the prologue takes place a decade later, so anything could have happened. The old man's song talks about Wuxie too and WKX says all his friends and enemies are gone...and Wen Rou is not with him either. So who knows. It does create a sense of bittersweetness and maybe they wanted to leave things to our imagination. It's a happy ending but it's also a bit of open ending I'd say.
Having a strong supporting cast is definitely a plus.
Thank you so much.
