No sex scene in the end? I thought they would have a steamy scene after they moved in together, then I waited until the end. I'm not mad, just slightly disappointed. 😹 This is a show that started off with a hj.
Charn is the cutest nerd. I'm glad they didn't have a montage while Khem cries for 20 minutes and gave him something to do, now we get to see more about Ramphueng too.
I wondered if Khem was influenced by Khemmika's feelings to do the silly spell, since it was the least serious thing that happened so far.
it's an accurate portrayal tho,but the horror is they're more brutal and hostile in real life and they forget…
I'm aware of what happens and I don't care to see it used for melodrama. The particular instance is to incite rage and misogyny against the character saying it. It's manipulative.
The actors look older instead of the usual flower boy types. But I'm enjoying it. I just wish they would stop using the ragebait fan scene over and over.
the fact that the DV subplot wasn't in the book and that they chose to add it only to minimalise the harm it causes…
It was upsetting and I skipped through a lot of it. I thought they were going to make him possessed and that's the reason he beat her, or try to justify the beatings because of her behaviors if she was possessed. It was just messy and upsetting. I don't like how everyone treated it like gossip or something easily talked out of. Everyone would've immediately caused him to escalate...
The whole mingling with groups parts felt like filler with the quirky jokes, preaching, and drawn out stares. The added sound effects to tell us how to feel were distracting.
Why did the villagers blow up at Khem for agreeing with them about DV being bad?
I didn't like how the victim is put in the position of being rooted against by being taken advantage of. I'm glad the man left, but I know it is more likely IRL he stuck around to continue beating his wife.
Peem's dialogue at the end was realistic, but he was the only voice of reason in a sea of dim characters. Did we need such a big contrast to show his smarts and competency?
Near perfect, but would've liked some more stories from certain character's pasts or their families. It's toxic done so well: no exaggerated slack jawed reactions, misunderstandings not abused, lack of rage bait, and believable reactions from the protagonist who is allowed to be flawed and human. I really love this show.
Sexy scenes, but sometimes the story advances so quickly I feel like I missed something. Maybe it's more focused on depicting the manga or creating fanservice for readers rather than creating its own image. Junxi is so cute.

Pong is so hot!
