If you watched the series you must have seen the flashback to when Ramil was in high school and he tried to intervene…
I'm not saying he should be put in a position to grovel, obviously he's past the point of reason and will likely abuse Ramil in the future. But I was the only one shocked that he hit Ramil and is escalating. It feels like a narrative misstep to avoid acknowledging it. Adding it to the pile of 'screenwriter forgot the plot she's writing.'

Maybe I should've been more specific, but the whole time Ratchata has been striking and whipping Paytai to punish Ramil because of family tradition. It might've been said that it's a rule Phuchongphisut can't be violent toward their blood. That's why I thought it'd be much more shocking that Ratchata finally hit Ramil directly. I said that it would be a good time for Ramil to call out his father for being so gung-ho about traditions and pride when he broke one of the family rules in the end. Did the rule never matter?
You'd think the tradition of punishment falling to a Phuchongphisut's trusted friend so that a family member can't touch his own blood would mean something to Ratchata because he obeyed it until the end. When he broke family rules, it would've been a good time for Ramil to call him out for being a hypocrite and a coward.
I was thinking about the book since it's been a while that I finished it.
The book is low quality and cut short, it was as if writers met a deadline too early and just tacked the ending on. Everyone was in awe of Khanin's basic ability to pin two and two together and allowed him to do as he pleased. The fencing recruitment was pointless, and Charan was devoid of a personality after he apologized to Khanin. I had to suspend my disbelief that Charan was the all knowing, sexy seme when they finally had sleep together. I don't miss reading fanfic because of unrealistic, bad tropes like this.
I liked the finale with Wasin's monologue the most. I thought it'd be the one shining light in the drama too. But it's not.
I hope to see people poking fun at the extras, which read like unedited, wattpad originals. They moved too fast to be enjoyable. They were either wish fulfillment, melodrama or just smut.
Grandpa shouldn't have had a voice to speak with. I feel nauseous watching everyone fuss over him. Now nobody looks truly evil in the drama besides Prince Ratchata, the cartoon villain.
All this thing about making Ava a strong and independent woman and in just a minute an arrow hit her to end up…
Ava being hurt doesn't negate her independence, but you're coming from a perspective where her narrative got disproved from being piggybacked by a man. Ramil is the biggest and strongest, so they had a higher chance of survival by getting out faster. Ava isn't the type of character to be obnoxiously stubborn and tell the others to wait on her behalf, and Mira can't hoist a woman her own size onto her shoulder, fencing instructor or not. Women don't gain superstrength or obnoxiousness from having asserted their boundaries and independence, and feminists don't ignore biological differences such as strength. It's pointless to nitpick a harmless scene.
Khanin's non-reactions to Wasin revealing things was too awkward. Why did they even write a book for this show if the screenwriter was going to rewrite half of it?
There were many enjoyable things in the book: Khanin himself, Paytai and Charan's friendship, Ramil and Khanin's rival friendship, Ramil/Paytai, Wasin's coup, and the co-parenting of Thatdanai and Tharin. But these things were especially done badly in the drama, if they weren't removed entirely.
Yes, I enjoy parts of the series, and I like the actors. But it's poor quality.
But then again his annoying dig at Khanin and Ava...
It was Ramil being his braggart self and he was quickly shown who he is. The drama seems to be exaggerating more often than not to make the contrasts more impactful.
