I can see from the start that BHR is just a misunderstood child, she has lots of secrets. Maybe, a little bit skewed on the head too. I just don't really like how they seem to romanticize the ML finding the different sides of BHR and focus on that, when honestly, her past and inner turmoil needs to be addressed more. And it is not pretty. And in real life, people won't fall for you because of your dysfunctionality and dark back story. Well, this is a teen drama afterall. I just hope this gets better.

Last time I checked (a few weeks ago) NiF was still 9.0. This new rating system is really weird honestly. Why do I feel classics like NiF will get buried more and more..

I've only watched ep. 1 and I was constantly dumbfounded. They always show the ML's reaction after every single thing Horang did. What? Are they trying to make him fall in love and are they trying to show that Horang is 'different' and that is what makes him interested in her or what? She is clearly having issues and they portray the ML as somewhat impressed/shocked by her behavior. I mean, come on.

I am annoyed. Or am I reading too deep into this?

Wow.. this got to be the most tiring last 10 episodes I've ever watched. Abused the fast forward and 1.5x speed button. I am so tired, wth is wrong with Fu Rong? She hangs out too much with a guy that is not her husband. She doesn't trust Xu Jin and they don't communicate at all.

Also, the poor child that is Prince An, they did him real dirty, this character. He is an emotional jealous mess to the point of impossible. He is as twisted as he can be.

I don't really like the modern drama sub plot too. Just how much more are you going to torture Xu Jin? This poor lad. What did he do to deserve that? Should be Fu Rong who waited for him for a 1000 years.

Xu Kai is one to carry chemistry well. He has such a good chemistry with his co-actresses that people are crazed into thinking he should only be paired with x or y particular actress. I haven't seen in any of his dramas where he doesn't have sizzling chemistry with the main amd supporting actresses. He carries romance that well. He looks nice with everyone. He has never been disappointing in this part and I think he won't.

That sequence is almost on par with Parasite's! Very well done!

So Ju Yeon is amazing in dr Romantic. I am so excited to see another drama of her!!
