in terms of the kidnapping though everyone knows and they tried to press charges against SR for that in particular but SR was able to weasel out of the accusation at the police station and pinned everything on HMS because the evidence they had only explicitly tied him to crime (ie him having been the one spotted taking her away from home to the apartment where she was held, SR making sure JY was blindfolded when she was there so she couldn't be ID). SR gave JI a recommendation for a herbal doctor who was "popular in the US" and said JI should buy GC medicine from there and tell him that [JI's] mom ordered it for him because she was worried about his health as a way to 'bring the two of them closer' -- in actuality (because SR knew the medicine would harm him / worsen his stomach ulcer) it was another one of her tactics to tear GC and JI apart by making him think that her mom intentionally wanted to poison him. she was trying to get GC to break up with JI faster
JI originally didn't understand why GC was hospitalised from it and decided to investigate the whole situation -- when she found out that the medicine she received was the opposite of her order she tracked down the doctor and confronted SR with the police but SR gave a sob story about feeling jealous towards GC because of her own history with JI / her mom (and I want to say also her 'recent divorce'?) and claimed that it was a lapse in judgement so JI ended up not criminally pursuing it
JI has thrown this back at the two of them in the latter half of the season but SR talked her way out of it
