but it is a happy ending because if tan had abandoned his faith for a life with barth i think he would have been conflicted for the rest of his life...because his faith is very strong....now, both are happy so it is ok💞

prince li has an informant in the prefecture!!! wow! he is more and more acceptable than before....just in terms of capability....but then dude got made by mxy....mxy totally recognised him....

haven't seen ep. 15 yet....but in ep. 14 i realised how many layers of lies ye li has built....that whole story she told mxy at her mother's grave in the temple was a lie?!?!? has to be, if the skeleton in the pond is her mother.....or is it not her mother but the real ye li and like somebody said, the ye li now is the actual ye li's maid...but which maid?!?!? so another hypothesis is that the skeleton is qingshuan who is the maid that hit her head during the fight against ye li's mother....i am so loving this drama....i cannot say that enough 😍😍😍😍😍😍

we saw that in one of the bts shorts.....so it is coming....but maaaaan...did you see prince li fighting?!?!?!? not he doesn't feel so pathetic....so i'm revising my opinion of prince li....so he has his own revenge arc and he has finally strengthened himself too unlike the sick kid that he was at lishan....so right now, everything else about him is normal....only his obsession with ye li is pathetic....

hmmmm....depends on whether you want tan to be with barth or you want him to be the priest which was his original goal....hehehehe....sorry, so the ending is that tan becomes a priest so of course he is not together with barth...but on the good side, barth has made peace with that and they are still friends.....this is my guess based on what we saw in the beginning of the first ep.

i miss perth too...want to see him get a lead role....

the music generally has main character vibes ;-) bcos it is too loud...bgm should a little less loud, i feel.....i mean, it i really good but just too loud in some scenes even while the dialogue is being spoken....can be quite annoying....

that part where mxy was being sarcastic was so sad....like his heart was breaking bcos now he knows his legs were not her first priority, it was getting that kidnapping gang caught.....poor mxy...he's so in love with her....and she's so nuts 🥺🥺

yes...in ep. 13 that scene is shown where ye li's mother is begging her father to return the edict...how her father got the edict is a mystery still but possibly her father is on the side of the evil muyang or more realistically afraid of the dowager empress....my thinking is that xiuwen (mxy's brother) received the edict and gave it to the headmaster of lishan (again dunno now or why) who told his daughter who was at lishan then to give it to the dowager empress who is her friend.....probably in the expectation that she travelling alone will reach faster than an army....and this may have been the plan bcos armies are not allowed to enter the capital....but somehow ye li's father found out about the edict and did not allow her mother to take it to the empress.....and she says that if he does that the mxy family will get destroyed but he doesn't listen.....and this anger and guilt kills ye li's mother....and also that's why xiuwen was not angry with ye li when she meets him at the execution ground because he trusted the lishan people and knew they would not have betrayed him...phew!!! and now mxy is guilty bcos if he had stayed with his brother, he would have been the one bringing the edict and none of the rest would have happened....

the opening scene of ep. 13 💞💞💞💞💞💞💞😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 but mostly in mxy ...our poor girl is just checking things off a list...."make you stand up"...."make you live happily"....these are the promises she made to his brother....

the build up to that desire was just amazing.....the way they have deconstructed desire....verrrrrryyyyyy nice....gemfourth have got to be the bl pair of the year....they've really done an amazing job already, just in these 3 episodes.....better even then billkin and ppkrit, who were my favourites till now....

wow!! awesome idea....they should totally make a movie out of this series...

p'aof and p' best have done such a neautifull job of writing the characters and their words.....in ep 2 and 3 (till befoe they reach the end) i was so annoyed with barth for keeping on pushing tan to feel something that he obviously didn't want to....i am getting really angry at barth....and tan was played with such precision - going back and forth between joining barth in his misdeeds and alsno not fully joining in.....maaaan....but that end.....undeniable....
