Honestly I was left breathless. I’m sure this shut up the naysayers regarding LJH’s action ability. But WOW, I got serious Old Boy vibes. He’s like the Terminator to me, if Hollywood wants to ever remake it I’ll choose LJH in it.
This show always felt like Korean Batman to me lol. Like Gotham esque.
I mean, its highly dramatized lol. Plus, the whole grim/gothic vibes only added more to it. So this show is partly fiction/drama, but I like seeing a Korean Batman. Plus, LJH is a worthy predecessor to him.
Finally! Someone mentioned le body!!! Those oh so fine close-up shots of his ripped body in Move to Heaven made…
Haha. He's been having biceps since his debut. He's lanky, so he's always had some defined abs lol. I'll say, on a vain note, his body is def. one of the hottest for Korean actors. Did you see Collectors? Dude has like a 6 pack most of the time, but in Move to Heaven, he has like a 8 pack!! His sleeveless shirts were so distracting!! Also, why is he so veiny lol?
Yeah, he puts a lot of effort into his physical fitness lol. And it shows big time. He said he works out very hard and regulates what he eats to stay young lol! Good for him, but bad for us, b/c every time we see him shirtless, we're going to faint from the hotness!

Lmao. Well, I mean dude mostly keeps his body hidden (side views but rarely full body shots lol). But he's always had abs b/c he's was lanky, but always had defined biceps lol. I mean, if you look at his magazine pics, he's always been super fit.
He did say for Move to Heaven, he worked out 5-6 days a week, 3-4 hours a day :O. So yes, it wasn't CGI but actually his hard worked earned toned body. Yes, please do! And this time, its really an appreciation of his hard work/dedication. More shirtless pics of LJH is always welcome :)
I just came here to say: the leads don't have to stand that close to each other when having their staredowns,…
Lol. The PD is low key shipping them (which is why the original writer left). I mean in Ep 11 when they're confronting one another, and there's a scene where there so close to one another lmao. I felt like at any given moment, they would make out but alas :(
Its almost like ingrained in him to do so! He did the same thing to Chae Soo Bin during Where Stars Land, after their kiss scene. And countless other examples once the scene yells cut, he comforts his co-stars right after. I think it speaks of his consideration toward the other actors.
It felt different these last episodes now I know why and to me it's bad news. Doki questioning his morals this…
Yes, so the PD already pre-planned the ending to be a happy one a few wks ago. IA, if it went the original way the webtoon ended, it would've been too depressing. (Going to Jail/having to serve jail time for their crimes/time lapse to x amount of time).
P.S About Mr. Jang (Spoilers):
The PD (he's spilling everything it seems lol) said that Mr. Jang doesn't turn evil, and he's not a bad guy here. Of course, whether he lives or dies is another thing. Unless this ends on a cliffhanger for a S2...which I suspect might happen....

Not at all :) I love in depth discussions of shows :) Thank you for that compliment btw!
Right, I think Do Ki questioning himself/his motives tells us he's not a criminal. He's someone who despite doing illegal activities, deep down he's fighting himself and what's he's doing is revenge for his pain or for the victims.
For me, I do have a bit of issues w/ how the crew has serious trauma/issues, but aren't getting much help (beyond group therapy sessions?). I feel like we haven't seen their psyche, and what they're truly feeling in regards to this.
Good point on Baek Sung Mi! IA. I think them being associated w/ her, was a red herring. They thought they were doing good by aligning w/ her, but in turn, if they continued, they would've been just as bad as the people who inflicted pain on their revenge victims.
Yeah, there was no long term plan. It feels like they were doing this b/c they didn't get caught/for the thrill of it. The illegal prison set up is also problematic, b/c some crimes don't = the same weight. Like theft vs murder are very different things.
Yes, love what you said about Kang Ha Na's character! She's someone who wants to believe in her system, but ultimately is powerless to the higher ups/societal. Her and Do Ki share a lot in common in regards to their motivations (seeking justice thru any means necessary).
This being SBS (Public Station), and government/taxed based. There's no way they'll let her go from the law. I can see her trying to help the crew out, but not necessarily join their team. I like your last point! I think that would be a clean way, let our Rainbow Taxi crew scoff free/able to do their thing. And Kang helps out time to time, and boom end credits. Plus, the PD said 3 wks ago, this has a planned happy ending, so I assume our crew are safe :)
