So sad for Park Sung Hoon. I feel so bad for him. He is such a talented and lovely guy in real life. This is so unfair. This was his year, with Joseon Exorcist, Happiness, and this. And now because of unfair reasons, he's out for this year. UGH!!! So UNFAIR!!
...PSH was the main reason I even wanted to watch that drama... This fking sucks and I don't buy that excuse a…
Yeah. Which is crazy is he was suppose to be the ML of Happiness w/ Han Hyo Joo (Same agency), but was dropped for Park Hyung Shik. And now this too?! I don't get it, considering he was signed onto this drama back in April. Why is he getting this treatment, its not his fault?! UGH!!! PSH is a great actor, and it sucks that this could've been his year had the whole JE thing not happened!!
Ah man... I was looking forward to this because of PSH 😢 he is so talented and deserves more main roles
Same here. This is the second time he's withdrawn from the Male Lead after the whole Joseon Exorcist fiasco :((. Between this and Happiness, seems like PDs are afraid to give him a ML so soon too. UGH WHY?!!
was season 1 worth watching? Stopped after 4 episodes because I expected darker.
Esom never stood a fair fight imo. Her character doesn't exist in the web too, and Ep 1-9, she was against Rainbow Taxi/Kim Do Gi as well. All of those didn't help in people liking/gelling with her. Ironically, despite Pyo Ye Jin joining late, and being the 2nd FL, she was given more to do, and more scenes (ambiguously left romantic) w/ LJH. Also, all this romance talk does make me laugh, b/c the intent of the show's focus were on each case/crime. Romance wouldn't fit, I would just want more friendship like Stranger has.
But they would need to cut out Go Eun's crush/jealously, b/c every time that feeling pops up, that's when viewers tend to place these romantic feelings onto the show. I'm just a bit salty haha, the more I think about, the more I get irked by how Esom was treated in this show. LJH and Esom were great together, and if not here, I would love to see their sparks they had into a drama or film. As for this show, I would like for her and Do Ki to be less antagonistic to one another.
Went down a rabbit hole unexpectedly for some reason on this guy. To say the least, I'm charmed by him. He has a fun and nice persona in rl. The more I see him, the more attractive he gets to me? Now, put that in a romance genre, and now we're talking.

Honestly, Esom is an award winning actress. If she's going to play second fiddle esp. to the 2nd FL here, I rather her not join S2. Instead, I would much rather prefer and Lee Je Hoon to work on a romance genre together in the future!
Your view is how I felt about my progression of the show. I'll say 15/16 were solid, and made the shows message stick by. I hope the 19 rating sticks, if a S2 ever comes into fruition.
I hope there is no love triangle tho but BROMANCE! I believe Seon Ho and Sang Yi can have a great bromance chemistry>.
If it was a funny love triangle, maybe. Also maybe, if that was used to bring them closer together too ha. Lee Sang Yi is uber talented too, and I think b/c he's also trained in theater, he and Seon Ho will bounce off each other well!
I notice there's no second female lead here lol. But who needs one, when you have THE Shin Min Ah as your FL?! God, August can't come sooner! This sounds like an actual rom-com, with the comedy!! Notice how they cast a lot of musical actors, can we expect some dance/song numbers in this?! PLS!!
I hope dis time dey don’t waste Esom’s character potential
Ugh tell me about it! I'm in the minority here, but I felt Esom and LJH had way more palpable chemistry that was wasted until like the last 4 episodes! If a S2 happens, can we please have more team up/scenes w/ him and her? Like Fox Mulder and Dana Scully from The X Files had?! Don't waste their chemistry, ugh hopefully the new female writer that was brought on in the 2nd half writes better for Esom!!

Yep that was me! I got hooked in the middle, while in the beginning, I wasn't as invested. As I said above, they need to do a better job w/ the other characters of this show. I want to see Doki and Esom's character team up/fight (as implied by her breaking the vase off the guy's head) together!
Mixed feelings on this. S1's ending def. had room for S2. But what's the end game here to do a S too? Also the way they treated Esom's character irked me to no end! Like it felt the 2nd FL was more of a lead in the 1st half. Also, they need to do a better job of integrating the other characters of this show! It felt like the Doki one man show!
I'm loving this mostly all female cast, which interestingly enough both PD/writer are men. So this was going to film this month, and then got pushed to August. Hope it pushes though b/c Park Sung Hoon is such a great actor and he deserves another ML!!
Yoon Park just has this knack for playin' odd, eccentric characters LoL! I always confuse him for Lee Je Hoon…
Lol, now that's a comparison I haven't seen people make the connection to before! I don't see it, but ironically though, Kim Dong Wook said he and Yoon Park were friendly at K-Arts which LJH also attended around the same time. So they're all connected, so you may be onto something lol!
Started watching yesterday and I'm loving it. Does anyone think the ML Kim Dong Wook looks a little like Jung…
I personally find him more charming/sexier than Jung Hae In lol? Again, he has that edge/unconventional factor that makes him more exciting as a ML imo.
I like the girl bestfriend character but her acting is sooooo annoying!! haha. idk maybe its just me. Anyway,…
She's like that throughout. I know the PD said she was cast b/c she's like her character in rl. But she was kinda annoying, but once you get past that, you get used to it. My issues is I just felt her character felt like a textbook edition of cheery positive girl, not much depth to it. Could've not had her, and the show wouldn't have changed much.
her acting seems to get better as gets older. I've been watching older dramas and her skills seem to have improved…
She said she was forced to do a lot of dramas during her youth, and she said she got stagnated and didn't feel respected as an actress until much later in her career. Also she saw how passionate Ji Sung (her then bf) was about acting, and took a break once she regained her passion for the craft. An example of someone who finessed their craft as they got older!
But they would need to cut out Go Eun's crush/jealously, b/c every time that feeling pops up, that's when viewers tend to place these romantic feelings onto the show.
