I was in the right mindset to watch it tbh. 47 episodes is daunting ngl. Just know if your getting into it, how over the top, crazy, and disturbing it can be at times. But there are fun moments, fast paced story, and you kind of get used to the whole theatrics of it. I'll say give it 3-4 episodes for S1, b/c leading up towards the end, a lot of the things in the beginning start adding up to an explosive finale.

I think its an error? B/c S1-S3, he's the main culprit/mastermind behind a lot of these cases lol. Also, since this is an ensemble cast, hard to say whose the main main imo. Of course, if I had to say, he's def. the main male lead here.

The villains ate this show up!! They are amazing. Without these two incredible actors, we wouldn't be watching the same. He manages to make his villains pitiful characters, like you hate them and recognize their evilness, yet feel pity for them. Dude does villains excellently! IA, I know he wasn't the 1st choice, but I can't see anyone else do his role justice.
I hope he gets a co-Daesang too. SBS does tend to sometimes give dual Daesangs. He's way too deserving off an actor, really hope he gets properly recognized for real. Don't think he has much competition for it. I do see Lee Je Hoon winning Top Excellence, and Kim Nam Gil as future competition. Other than that, it's all his!

Yes. I'm in the same boat, I've been spoiled lol. Even then, watching the show gave me a lot of insight and depth than I had expected. It's crazy yes, but after Ep 4, it does become a bit more grounded. Surprisedly better than I had expected, especially since I too dropped the show back when it was airing after Ep 1.

The beginning of the season was a joke... It was lacking. Only until episode 4 or something it started picking…
Esp. given there's a bad outbreak rn in Korea. I definitely think they shouldn't be so greedy. I know the cast filmed 10 episodes already, & are filming now. So I hope, they can finish it before someone gets Covid. The cast/crew for starters must be super exhausted filming this for almost/close to over a year. I did read that its 13 episodes, and Ep 14 is just an epilogue.
I read that while this show is doing well for them. SBS is at a lost of whether to continue or not, but at the same time knowing that ending it well is also important. The writer is known to struggle w/ how to end this show. Even the ratings while good, aren't as high as S1/S2's. They really should've made this twice a week. At this point, let's hope no one gets infected, & they can all finish this show for GOOD!! #FreePenthouseActors/Crew

Really late reply! Just heard he's the nice guy here for starters! His role, not sure if its big or small? But its an important role to the FL, & there interaction plays a key component of his growth.
