i know it's still the beginning but i'm already looking forward to tang qi letting go of his obsession with su miao as it's the one aspect i'm iffy on.
really happy with the progress at the end of ep 6: he got a glimpse of her efforts and hard work as su cheng cheng. i liked how she handled the situation with a lot of maturity and grace too. one step closer to clearing up the misunderstanding and romance unfolding. ❤️
girls don't want fancy jewellery girls want a bracelet that can alter your appearance to an animated monkey to scare the shit out of a nasty and jealous coworker who takes credit for your work
oh, my heart feels so heavy and empty. such a deeply profound and poignant this drama was. tragic, beautiful, bittersweet but realistic. as viewers, we tend to watch dramas as escapism so of course happy endings are a must so i don't blame anyone who feels upset but at the same time i really appreciated how raw and true to real life it was. we get sad, angry, depressed, hurt. we suffer in silence. while most of us won't ever know the full extent of li zan's condition and the battles he constantly fought, it was an extremely emotional journey that i was glad to be on. such amazing chemistry between our two leads and nothing short of praises for their acting especially in the final episodes. the portrayal of trauma and its effects was commendable.
ah zan, ran ran, thank you for your heartbreaking story. your love will inspire and touch the lives of many others, for embodying in sickness and in health. for better and for worse.
indeed, may we all enjoy the beauty of life and live a free and easy life.
knowing about the novel ending (or at least the epilogue) makes me so sad :( while i doubt they'll go that route because ~censorship~ it's just a reminder that life is bittersweet, i can't help but think of him eventually taking his own due to ptsd while watching the hospital breakdown scene
