oh damn the first 4 episodes was so good! i'm loving the suspenseful tone and curious to see how the stories relate…
based on the flashback i think we can conclude it was an abusive relationship or someone who was obsessed with her (shown as a forced marriage in the first story) and the teddy bear in the second story was with that co worker who didn't help when she was locked in the office meaning no one answered her cry for help when the guy was attempting to assault her? 🤔
drama should be called 'skip any emotional connection between the characters or a resemblance of a decent plot' because girl they're making feel nothing 💀
well this is messy like it doesn't know what direction it wants to take so it's going everywhere lol but something about watching a trainwreck is addicting
we know the culprit is the uncle but damn why they making it seem as if he purposely caused the accident like shaking the boat and not stopping when they were obviously afraid? did he have a hidden agenda against them? if that's the case why is a kid so malicious?
"women are not weak as you think they are. we can go through thick and thin with the ones we love. but what about you guys? you claim to do it for the sake of the ones you care about. you push your loved ones away without giving them a chance. do you really think this is the best way to protect us, right? but this actually hurts us the most."
it sucks when one of the character decides to be a noble idiot but oh man when BOTH does it? next level of frustration but the thing is i'm glad their personality didn't do a 180 change. it's common for this trope to be used as "oh i'm going to hurt them for their own good" but in this case, they're both still understanding and thinking of the other's feelings which is why the angst hurts more. rather than putting the blame on the other, they're doing it to themselves. it's refreshing and mature.
this was such an underrated gem! i was under the impression it was a romcom at first and while yes, it had comedic parts, it also had an unexpected melancholic tone (mainly in the form of the male lead). it was deeply reflective and realistic in a way it touched a part of my soul. i was already a fan of zhu zheng ting and lu yu xiao but even more so after this drama. they did such an excellent job portraying their characters and i was absolutely in love with their chemistry. it's no secret that the opposites attract dynamic contains the best relationship growth and they were no exception. he was an eternal pessimist and she an optimist. learning to grow and heal individually as well as together was a beautiful journey to witness. funny, sweet, sad and angsty. definitely a whirlwind of emotions. i'm really going to miss my comfort couple. 🥹❤️
"i'm a pessimist. i was lucky to be alone, but i've never been alone. no matter what personality you have, please accept yourself."
"i'm an optimist. i thought the meaning of life is to change the pessimistic reality with a positive attitude. no matter what state you are in, i hope all of you can grow their own flowers in their deserts."
i assume it'll be airing soon 🥰
my good sis spitting facts!
"i'm an optimist. i thought the meaning of life is to change the pessimistic reality with a positive attitude. no matter what state you are in, i hope all of you can grow their own flowers in their deserts."
such a beautiful ending and message!
the break up trope is really unavoidable huh 😔
