if you tell me in the scenes they're playing and messing around it's just the actors themselves i'd believe you that's how natural their chemistry is 🥹🥹
actually at first i was slightly annoyed that it seemed that they were pulling the secret crush route and was 2 seconds away from begging him to stop looking like a kicked puppy akishjdkskds but i love the switch in perspectives in the new eps. it makes their feelings both look mutual but clearly whatever happened in the past has made her put walls up. of course it's natural to be scared and not want to lose a good friend. anyways i'm seated! already looking forward to their dating era :D
it's easy to say "oh they've been friends for a really long time" but another to show it. observing the small details, noticing changes in mood, comforting the other in a subtle manner, doing simple acts casually, having petty fights one minute and crying sobbing at the thought of them getting hurt the next. just being comfortable. THAT is the reason why i love the friends to lovers trope but it's hard to say they're executed well these days.

omg the cat bag charm he gave her which has a dog counterpart and they're called 糖浆 (tangjiang) aka their cp name too which is why she was flustered ajsbdkjskds so cute
the way i bursted out laughing when she tried to act coquettishly and he was acting as if aliens took over her body ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ moments like this are my fave because you really see their friendship chemistry
even though they're kind of showing that his feelings are more apparent through his ✨eyes✨ i love that it's also mutual on her part albeit more subtle e.g. the way she looked at him casually knowing where things are in her parents' home
