Bold and Brave

This one definitely didn’t hold back. From the get-go, it took a bold and brazen approach to BL—leaning into themes and scenes that felt raw, unapologetic, and refreshingly gutsy. The plot had real momentum. It kept me curious, kept me invested, and wasn’t afraid to stir things up emotionally or visually. Some of the scenes? Brave. Like, genuinely brave. You could tell the creators weren’t interested in playing it safe, and I respect that. That said, I couldn’t help but feel like something was missing. Maybe it was the pacing, maybe it was the emotional layering—but I found myself wanting more time with the characters. More quiet moments. More tension. More growth. It felt like the story had so much potential to go deeper, and if they’d stretched it out just a bit more, I think it could’ve really hit harder. Still, the direction was solid, and the acting carried a lot of weight. The cast had chemistry, and even when the script felt a little rushed, they made it work. Overall, it was an interesting watch—stylish, daring, and definitely worth the conversation. Not perfect, but it left an impression. Final verdict: 3.5 out of 5 stars. Bold in spirit, brave in execution, and just a few beats away from greatness.

Funny and Beautiful

I genuinely had a great time watching this series. It offers a refreshing and unexpected take on time travel, something playful and emotionally layered. What really stood out to me was how the love story was seamlessly woven into the political backdrop. It could’ve easily felt forced or overly dramatic, but instead, it managed to stay funny and heartfelt. Visually, the show is stunning. The colors are rich and vibrant, and the costumes are gorgeous. The series does try to cover a lot of ground thematically, which made it feel a bit long in places. Acting-wise, Nut was a standout. He’s just so captivating on screen, especially in that scene where he had to dress up as a woman—he looked stunning and pulled it off with such charm and comedic timing. Most of his scenes had me smiling, and his chemistry with Ping was genuinely believable. You could feel the tension, the affection, and the humor between them. Also, I like the side couple played by Lee and Aton. They were adorable together and added a sweet, lighthearted touch to the story. All in all, this was a fun, visually rich, and emotionally engaging watch. Not perfect, but definitely worth the time. I’d give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Simple and Sweet

Totally loved this series. It didn’t try too hard or go over the top—just a simple story told with so much heart and finesse. The writing was clean, the pacing felt natural, and the way the emotions were portrayed – spot on. You could really feel the characters’ highs and lows without it ever feeling forced or cheesy. The ending was classic rom-com territory—predictable in the best way possible. It gave me that warm, fuzzy feeling and wrapped things up just the way I hoped. Sometimes, you don’t need a big twist or groundbreaking plot to make something memorable. This one just leaned into the charm of straightforward storytelling and nailed it. For me, it’s a solid 4 out of 5 stars—comforting and well-crafted.

Young Love

Cuteness overload at its finest! This series delivers a simple yet endearing narrative that follows teenagers as they navigate the complexities of first love and self-discovery. While the storyline doesn't break new ground in the BL genre—it borrows familiar tropes and setups—it still manages to charm with its sincerity and youthful energy.

What truly elevates the experience is the fresh casting. The young actors bring a raw authenticity that fits their high school roles effortlessly. In particular, the tandem of Kim and Mon stands out—undeniably magnetic, their chemistry leaps off the screen and pulls you right into their world. Every glance, every stolen moment between them feels genuine, and it's the kind of on-screen pairing that makes you root for a spin-off or standalone series just to see their dynamic unfold further.

Yes, there are scenes that feel derivative if you’re familiar with other BLs, but there’s a comforting nostalgia in that too. The mix of cuteness and light thrills keeps the pace lively, even if the emotional beats play it safe. Still, the series knows its audience and embraces its sweetness unapologetically.

Overall, it’s a fun watch that doesn’t try too hard and doesn’t need to. It knows what it wants to be—and for what it is, it delivers. I’m giving it a well-deserved 4 out of 5 stars.

Beautiful and Honest

This BL series had an undeniable charm, with a lighthearted and visually stunning approach that made it enjoyable despite some narrative shortcomings. While the story itself followed familiar tropes, it could have developed the emotional depth of the romance. The relationship between the two leads had potential, especially given their contrasting personalities, which added intrigue to each episode. However, the lack of substantial development in their connection made certain moments feel somewhat rushed or underexplored. One of the most remarkable aspects of the series was its cinematography. Each shot captured the essence and beauty of Chiang Mai, turning the province into a character in itself. Despite its shortcomings, the series maintained an earnest charm, with the lead actors delivering genuine performances that added emotional sincerity to the narrative. A solid 4/5 stars for the beautiful visuals and honest storytelling!

Something Got Lost Along the Way

It feels like this series showed good potential at the start but lost its way somewhere along the line. The story had potential, but as it went on, things just got messy. Some scenes were confusing, and the editing didn’t do much to help. One thing that stood out, though, was Choi Min Ho’s face, the camera really loves him. So, for me, something did not really move in the right direction.

Gorgeous Cast

The Sign gave us something different in the BL series realm, of course the romantic angle is there but with a mix of action, political intrigue and historical fantasy and let’s give credit to Idol Factory for stepping up to the challenge of presenting variety to the audience. The cast really stood out for me, well, primarily because they are all gorgeous. Leading the pack of delectable men is Billy and his slutty waist. A real eye candy but he also gave us some credible acting. It is my first time seeing Babe and he definitely has one of the most beautiful faces in BL right now, perfect in all angles. Also, special mention is actor Gap who exudes a throbbing sensuality at the same time a sweet boyish charm. The cinematography is also something to be applauded for together with the special effects which were executed cleanly. I do feel though that there were some scenes that dragged on like the crying scenes which would tempt you to hit that fast forward button a little bit but again, commendable effort in trying to offer something that is not expected for a BL series but still making sure not to deviate far from the boys love theme. I can say that I enjoyed watching this series and looking forward for what other series this production outfit can come up with in the near future.

JimmySea Reign Supreme

JimmySea’s onscreen chemistry is just next-level. It’s honestly what makes this series stand out as one of the best BLs out there. From the very first episode, you can feel how natural they are together—nothing feels forced or overly scripted. The way they look at each other, the subtle gestures, the emotional beats… it’s all so believable that you forget you’re watching actors. You genuinely feel like you’re witnessing two people falling in love. Both are excellent actors of their generation. Jimmy brings this raw intensity, especially in those heavy drama scenes where emotions run high. His confrontations are powerful—he doesn’t just act, he inhabits the moment. And then there’s Sea, who absolutely wrecks you with his vulnerability. The way he cries? It’s not just tears—it’s heartbreak, longing, and love all wrapped into one. You feel it in your chest. Sure, the storyline follows the familiar BL formula, but it’s executed with such finesse that it doesn’t feel recycled. The pacing, the emotional build-up, the little moments—they all hit just right. The director clearly knew what he was doing, balancing the romance, drama, and character development so well. Every scene feels beautifully crafted. Honestly, I can’t get enough of Jimmy and Sea. Their chemistry is addictive, and their performances are unforgettable. Solid 5/5 stars. Total must-watch.

Superb Storytelling

I definitely enjoyed watching this series—it was an emotional rollercoaster in the best possible way. From the very first episode, the storytelling pulled me in, and I have to commend the director for crafting such a compelling and well-paced narrative, special mention was episode 7. The way the plot unfolded was both entertaining and thought-provoking, striking a perfect balance between humor, drama, and heartfelt moments. Each character was given the space to grow and truly shine. This show delivered and I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars—it was more than worth my time. I’m hoping to see more of Dylan and Sean in the future, perhaps in their own BL series.

Beautifully Chaotic

This was a good watch overall. It’s one of the longer BL series I’ve seen, and while the extended runtime allowed for deeper character development, it also came with a whirlwind of twists and turns—sometimes a bit too much. There were moments when the drama felt excessive, bordering on melodramatic, but the emotional payoff in key scenes made it worth sticking through. What stood out most to me was the evolution of the characters. You really get to see how their relationships grow—not just romantically, but in how they learn to care for and protect each other. Visually, the series has an expensive, polished feel. The actors have great chemistry. They look good together on screen. That said, the series leans heavily into dramatic tropes. At times, it felt like the plot was trying to outdo itself with each episode, which could be overwhelming. I will give this series 3.5 out of 5 stars. A visually stunning, emotionally rich series that occasionally overindulges in drama but ultimately leaves a lasting impression.
