I'm currently watching this drama and I wouldn't say that I can feel about the guy that jumped ( or fell ) from the crane. If anything else this looks to me as a pure psychological blackmail towards Jin Sang Pil, his son and his colleagues. At the end of the day, no matter what were their living conditions it was for their benefit to have one of their colleagues being a successful and approved from the voters assembly man. Even though he abandoned the demonstrations or the strike, getting into the Assembly was the most effective way to support their causes. Anyway.. this whole thing had a very high WTF factor! lol
You are spot on. I looked up to see who he is. His performance is incredible. It is to wonder why they don't cast…
Yes... S. Korean actors when they are good they are very good. Those who are usually the best are those who play the second and third roles and that because they play characters and they don't mind to mess up their faces, something that you won't see on the actors and actresses that are cast in the first roles.
Ok.. this was very good. But it is a crime drama for adults. No romance or that much action. It is all about the interaction of the characters in the concept of criminal psychology. 9,5 out of 10 from me.

Probably. It is usually the stage actors that give the best performances because they are able to stay on character .
Anyway this guy is a fantastic actor, I have watch him in second and guest roles in films and dramas and I'm of the opinion that he should be cast in a lead role because he is very very good. Particularly at the interrogation scene on episode 10 that it was like a monologue and in a constant close up shot for 20 minutes straight ( with some other shots in between). It is the scene where the profiler freaked out.
Perfect in Through the darkness, psychopath without overacting. Scary... after seeing him there, I see his normal…

Why... is there a particular reason we have to ban negative reviews?
Why? Are perhaps less valid than the positive ones? Everyone here is entitled to her or his opinion. You don't have to agree with other people's opinions but they can be valid either way.
I don't really agree because I liked how they used the music in those moments, but I still upvoted because this…
I didn't say that the music is bad per se. What I'm saying is that it is way too epic, way too loud and over used as a background for this drama. At episode 7 f.e I had to mute the sound. That epic music was playing during almost the whole duration of the episode.
Thank you for letting me know. I will read it again to see any possible spoilers and remove them or can you point…
It is not a particular part of this review that is more revealing than the others. It is the whole of the review that reveals way too much. How the plot develops, that the director shows the culprits from the very start, what is the role of Kim Na Gil and so on. Personally I didn't want to read that many details before watching it. That is the reason why I suggest to add the spoiler alert.
Has anyone else been struck by the methodological inconsistencies between two serial killer investigations (ep…
The concept of this drama is not to show that they were super knowledgeable and successful from the very beginning but to show how hard it was for them to establish this Profilers department/ division ( whatever that was). They didn't have neither the knowledge nor the means, neither the approval of the other investigators, but they stuck with their initial idea that something like this could have been helpful and finally managed to have some success. It is the story of how they made it case by case.
That music is constantly banging in the background and it is also unjustifiably intense. The scenes are intense by themselves. They don't need this loud nonsense on the background.
Either they got a taste of their own medicine (meaning they were mass downvoted) or, Idk, maybe they were using…
The OP said that those reviews lost their upvotes. I don't know if that is possible but in any case, the upvote downvote function is useless IMHO because each and every reviewer is entitled to his/her opinion. If you haven't watched a drama yet it is impossible to know if a review was accurate and by the time that you have already watch it, you have your own opinion about that drama and somebody else's opinion is not relevant any more.
It would be better if the reviews could be categorized in positive and negative ones according to the rating that each reviewer gave to a drama. Because many users, including me, want to read some positive and some negative reviews before they decide if they want to watch a drama.
The admins should also consider to block from reviewing those who haven't watch at least half of the episodes of each drama. I have seen countless "stellar" reviews done immediately after the release of the first episode of a drama that is still airing, usually done by the fans of the one or the other actor, recommending this drama to other users.
This if anything else is not helpful. And it is stupid too.
The reviews are ranked according to how helpful they were. If a review has a lot of upvotes but MORE down votes…
I don't think that this can be done. Are you sure that they were the reviews of the same users? Perhaps they were different reviews that changed position in the list.
Whatever is the case I think that the upvote and downvote function on the reviews is useless and attracts bots. We are all entitled to our opinion.
I think that it would be better if the reviews could be separated to positive and negative ones according to the reviewers rating. Negatives with rating under five and positive with rating over five. I -personally- want sometimes to read some of the negative reviews and I have to scroll down for ages, particularly in the most viewed dramas.
I mean, the cases here are based on a true story, so maybe reality is stranger than imagination? I also think…
I wasn't talking about this drama in particular. But I saw a similar scene in this drama too. This drama might show real cases but most of K-dramas don't. But all of them repeat the same cliches. That the bad guy is wearing a jokey hat or a hoodie looool to hide himself in places that no one else is wearing a hat!
Regarding stalkers. If you suspect that someone is following you with dubious intentions it is better to confront him and raise an alarm, even if it is the wrong alarm, than risk an attack. It is better to be safe than sorry. And it is not recommended to seek refuge in some isolated back alley. This is common sense that the female victims in K-drama land don't seem to possess!
Generally speaking now.....Can someone explain to me why all K-drama villains wear those jokey caps and on top of that they are wearing them in places that no one else wears a hat in order to hide their identity??! lol The bad guy is always wearing a summer hat in the middle of winter, in the middle of the night and he follows a woman that instead of going in a place with a lot of people she turns for security in the most isolated street ever!
Also can someone explain to me why all those women that are followed by a guy, put their heads down and ran like chickens instead of confront this person and start shouting in order to alarm the neighborhood that they are followed?
I'm not asking these questions because of this drama, I'm asking because I have seen them repeated in a trillion other K-dramas.
