Title Reset
I'm currently watching this drama and the thing that I find really funny and I have seen in a good number of C-dramas are the vacant public spaces. The streets are always almost empty with the one street line having f.e five cars and the other none, nobody is walking at the side walks, the buses are almost empty and all that in China that has some of the most overpopulated cities in the world.
And the most funny thing is that the ML finds a taxi in the middle of a completely empty street the moment he is raising his hand while the FL walks away and there ( at last) she encounters for the first time another person walking on the sidewalk and just one guy driving a motor bike...The rest 1,4 billion Chinese are obviously hiding!! ha ha haaaaaaa

Same applies to Kang Sol [A] who says at some point that her sister has this exact blood type. If her sister has it so probably some of her own relatives had it too and she definitely had a RH - blood type too.

Title Law School Spoiler
The writers made some factual errors with the rare blood type case on episode 4.
Only the 1% of Asians have RH 0 - blood type but this blood type doesn't appear out of the blue. It runs in the family. In order for someone to have a RH negative blood type, both his parents have to have an RH- and that because the RH- is recessive. So both of Yang Jong Hoon parents in this drama had RH- and probably his siblings or aunts and uncles too with some of them having the exact same RH 0- blood type with him.

I know that because I have a relatively rare blood type ( but not so difficult ) an AB -. My father had A- my mother had B- and my siblings have A - and B- respectively. If one of my parents had a RH + blood type we would have had inherited RH+ because the RH - blood type is recessive and needs only one individual with RH+ to have children with positive blood type.
Similarly the siblings of my father and my mother have all RH- blood types so probably some of them, or some of their children have the very rare RH 0- too.

So the doctors should have known how this goes that and the first people they should have asked to donate blood for Yang Jong Hoon should have been his first or second degree relatives and not making random announcements at the hospital or in public and particularly at an Asian country where only 1% of the population has RH 0- blood type!

I think because the story did not concluded in the first ten episodes (1st season)
I've dropped it at 14th episode because I really don't care at this point on who is the culprit, I wrote a review too where I explain the reasons why I dropped it.
The main reason is that it seems like the writers are exploring somehow the reaction of the viewers by presenting each and every one of the characters as a possible culprit, without giving any explanation why and how each character is connected with this particular crime. It has become obvious at this point that they don't have a plan or a story plot. They literally shot random explanations that don't make sense.
I don't really care about the characters and the plot and I down voted/ ranked really hard both its "seasons". Because these are not two separate seasons but a single 20 episodes drama in two parts.
If I wanted at the end of the day, to watch a drama with so many episodes I would have picked up something else. I wouldn't start watching one with supposedly ten episodes if I knew in advance that it wouldn't go anywhere and it wouldn't have on top of that any consistent and compact plot.
There is no plot story in this thing.

I totally agree.. Even if the fake husband changed his voice ( that is rather improbable) what about his personal body odor. It is impossible not to figure out that the guy that is sleeping next to you is not the guy that you used to sleep with, for several years. Not to mention that even if that guy was her husband's twin she would have figured out who he really is the moment he would have had sex with him!

Anyway.. I've dropped this drama because it was full of impossible situations something that I can't bare on non fantasy/fiction dramas.

It didn't conclude and that is the reason why I"ve asked. The series info talks about 10 episodes, but they released immediately more episodes so it seems like the first season has more than those ten. Anyway.. I 've already watched the first 10 episodes and I keep on watching.
I insist on my comment below. I haven't changed my mind that all this story has something to do with the house.
If this drama worth for something it's for its surrealism.
The plot was weak, the characters inconsistent, the FL had a completely childish behavior, the Goblin's character is weak and immature and the end was horrible as the Goblin didn't manage to get what he wished for.
The clever trick of this drama is that we watch the story from the Goblin's point of view though the actual protagonist and the character that leads the plot is the Reaper.
Anyway...
The plot is inconsistent and boring but interaction between the actors who were improvising and had fun while they were filming ( probably due to the lack of a solid script!! lol ) along with the cinematography and the music make an unbeatable combination.
It is the kind of series that you would expect to see if Pedro Almodovar , Guillermo Del Toro and Tim Burton joined their powers to make a festive ( Christmas or similar ) series.

9,5 out of 10 from me for the surrealism and fun factor.

The age gap between who?? the female and male lead or..?
I don't understand why you bother that much about the age gap. The ML is supposed to be a demon and as such 750+ older than her so it is expected to look by far more mature, old, father figure etc.

I started watching the first ten but it seems to have more and keeps on going.
Was it that popular that they released more episodes?

Just for the record.
I'm watching the 7th episode and I think that all this has something to do with the house that he was planning to built. And that because the whole story started with the house and the construction of the house comes up on each and every episode though it is ( or it seems to be and it should have been) completely unrelated with the abduction of his family.
The construction company had no reason to prevent him from building it because he had already taken the mortgage after all, that is still valid even if his family is already dead. So why the construction company owner tried to persuade him to abandon the project? It is not for their benefit not to build the house. It doesn't make sense. It is business for them, and it doesn't harm their reputation by any means.
Not to mention that his daughters shoe was found on the construction site.
If you remove the "noise" of all the unrelated, gossiping people and the crazy neighbor chick ( his wife's friend) that seems to be in love with him, or she acts out of jealousy for her friend, there is nothing else left other that there is someone who is trying to prevent him from building this house and live there with his family. If this person didn't want him though to have his family s/he would have killed them already.
But it hasn't done so yet so what is left from Ryosuke's strictly personal matters - unrelated with the public opinion, the press etc? The house.

I'm watching episode 5 and I have to say that the police is amateurish and lacks of any kind of seriousness. Even if the drama is supposed to be somewhat humorist the behavior of the police is absurd from the very first moment that Ryosuke reported that his family was missing.

What sort of police is one that it doesn't take seriously a missing persons report and it doesn't even goes after those who leaked on social media, anonymously information that the police didn't want to be revealed? I'm talking the package of the frozen corpse that someone anonymously published on social media. This should have made any serious police department to investigate who leaked this information, inside or outside of the police department and also run after those who owned the social media accounts.

His closest friends said that they didn't notice any change in his behavior and that they didn't notice either any signs of depression.
Those who eventually claimed that he probably suffered from depression were those who checked his apartment after his death, and they didn't know him personally.
How seriously can someone take these claims?

Chimera is great but it has a messed up finale. It is incredible how difficult it is for Korean writers and directors to decently end their dramas.
The majority of final episodes on Korean dramas look like lazy afterthoughts.

I agree But if they Remake a Korean Drama it just make it better and that drama shines moreBecause Japanese drama…
It doesn't have to do with the number of episodes but with the structure of the script and the way the scenes are cut. It is not that Japanese directors film less scenes than the Koreans. They simply assemble them with a more compact and viewer oriented way.
They have a better sense of economy to say it so.
But a initially bad script won't become a better script by filming it with different actors and change the order of the scenes. Bad source material is just bad source material.
