he's actually very hyped lol and has been since he was cast as Hua Cheng (although that drama is never going to air). you have to remember he had no previous experience with acting. He basically debuted as a college student with no background in acting and was cast in main roles immediately.

if that drama gets released, it'll be dropped randomly with no notice. the problem is with the 3rd male lead. he participated in some anti-government stuff on his weibo. the weibo promo yesterday didn't even include his name.

anyone looking for a typical idol romance is going to be disappointed lol this is more focused on the character's occupation and it's filmed pretty realistically too with the lack of filter/smoothing the actor's skins. the costuming is very simple too

I'm kind of confused when this would air, because all the melon accounts are saying this is coming soon plus ZLH himself confirmed it was coming soon. ZLH has a drama airing on the 19th (even if he has a small role) and bailu's drama with WHD is supposedly airing in October. it's pretty rare for actors to have two big dramas airing at once.

is this following webdrama schedule (eg multiple episodes on the first day)? I don't think it's airing on tv at the same time, but if it went by tv schedule, it'd suck waiting for each episode for his 2 min scenes lol

the trailer makes it look like a firefighter action drama lol but the source novel is actually romance focused so I'm not sure what to think..

you can search his name on douban. I don't think he has a single drama above a 5.0 rating..

hairstylist is more divisive. sometimes they're good. sometimes they're bad.

nah he's def a guest role lol I think he only filmed around 10~20 days total. he won't have much screentime.

looked at the crew and so far the most questionable is the scriptwriter & hair stylist. everything else seems fine, esp the art direction which is behind some really famous dramas. excited!

this isn't fem centric tbh. I think FL & ML have equal screentime.

yayy finally one of his dramas aired! I think this character isn't as complex as some of his other ones so maybe he won't gain many new fans but he just needs to air some thing so people can get off his back on being a jinx

I agree. there's too much exposition when it could be explained visually. this is a visual medium afterall.

no lie but I'm kind of tired of FL & 2nd FL convos lol I think I'm one of the few who don't like 2nd FL because I think the actress' acting is a bit cartoony like she's almost twirling a mustache with how surface level her "evil" acting is.

I reallyyy like GZY's sister! I actually like all the scenes with her, GZY & their bodyguard. It's one of the few comedic scenes in this overall serious drama
