the biggest problem is the airing date is when students are returning to school. and with the drama being so short, it'll basically be done airing in 2 weeks.

ok a very very reliable melon account said if all things go smoothly, it will drop this Sunday (27th). I think they're trying to get the signature for the 2nd review that is required for promo purposes. we'll see if it's true because Sunday is very close.

hopefully they learned from that ordeal.

Demon Hunter with RJL is the big September drama that will probably take up majority of the month. I'm starting to lose hope for SOKP this year :/

I saw it too. Apparently it's a reliable melon account but we'll see. They said between Aug 27 to 31. That's basically in two weeks. If it's true, there should be more confirmation from bigger melon accounts coming in the upcoming days.

the guy is listed pretty low on the list of cast so one would assume he has few parts. however, he might be listed low simply because he's a no name actor (only a 03er). I really hope it's the former because it would suck if the drama gets shelved because of him. He's also in the other YSX drama (Chinese Paladin 6) and Prisoner of Beauty (another hugely anticipated drama next year) ugh.

he has so many haters, it's crazy. he's not even a popular actor yet so many people want to see his downfall. the rumor of the side actor being a potential r*pist isn't even being discussed. they're all focused on blaming an innocent party.

MJTY hasn't opened up reservations. I don't think it will. tbh reservations are proving to be useless now with LYST doing so poorly and that had 6M reservations.

the modern drama is dropping all episodes at once. it seems like counter-programming to the costume dramas. SOKP airs in the same slot as LYST so it can only ideally air after that drama ends.

it hasn't passed the 2nd review yet so I'm unsure if those August rumors are correct. 2nd review is very important for promotion purposes like they can't promote the drama in headers on the website if it hasn't passed 2nd review. iirc no reliable melon account has said August. They've said it'll air October. It's definitely coming this year though. I think the August rumors are due to LYST airing badly so they're saying IQIYI wants to bump up MJTY and Demon Hunter's release dates, but it wouldn't be advantageous for this drama to get bumped up so soon.

happens pretty often with dramas that have low budgets. this one is a special circumstance so I hope they just drop it at once so even if it gets taken down, we'll at least have pirated versions loool

oh bad news. now reliable melon accounts are saying Demon Hunter (the one with Ren Jia Lun) is gonna air after Love You Seven Times in early Sept. SOKP getting pushed back once again. I won't really be surprised if YSX/ZLH's drama airs before this lol.

Ngl, when I saw this rumored, I was like ?? because they don't really match lol their age difference isn't large (97 vs 02) but LingHe just looks much older. Anyways, this is LingHe's first non-IQIYI project in a long time, I hope it actually airs smoothly :D

I'm glad his next rumored drama isn't at iqiyi. I know they have a lot of hit dramas and they gave him some great roles but this is getting ridiculous.

the trailer that dropped last September peaked my interest. I liked the dark tone and how twisted? the romanced seemed.

there's two rumors going around. one is that it got sent back for another review because of all the negativity around the other firefighter drama. the other is that this drama is just waiting for a tv broadcast schedule since it'll be aired on tv and not just web.

honestly, I'd recommend IQIYI to just drop all episodes at once and keep promo at a minimum. This drama has enough hype around it to make up for the lack of promo. it needs to avoid negative press and antis who are itching to report it to the government.

how is Fox Spirit so high up on this list though.. that one isn't even finished in post-production and can't be aired until Christmas Break at the earliest.
