yayy finally one of his dramas aired! I think this character isn't as complex as some of his other ones so maybe he won't gain many new fans but he just needs to air some thing so people can get off his back on being a jinx

no lie but I'm kind of tired of FL & 2nd FL convos lol I think I'm one of the few who don't like 2nd FL because I think the actress' acting is a bit cartoony like she's almost twirling a mustache with how surface level her "evil" acting is.

I reallyyy like GZY's sister! I actually like all the scenes with her, GZY & their bodyguard. It's one of the few comedic scenes in this overall serious drama

Gong Ziyu in episode 3 is sooo badass compared to the first two episodes where he's kind of dumb/used as comedic effect. I need more Weishan/Ziyu interactions!!

also let me praise Linghe again for his acting because his gaze and micro expressions are so on point in this episode.

re-watching from the beginnning and omg.. the scene where Gong Ziyu is first introduced and he's standing in front of the window with the snow blowing in.. Zhang Linghe straight up looks like an anime character come to life. He is so pretty in that scene

ZLH is good at crying scenes. I noticed this when I watched LBFAD too. I think his acting is decent for someone who only debuted 3 years ago and had no pre-existing training. I think he was an ordinary engineering student before lol it's kind of random how he suddenly decided to go into acting.

yeah I think it's a mixture of live vs dubbed. they used live recording so in some parts it's not as clear as dubbing done in a studio

I think if they're going to remake a classic drama, they should at least try to do it better lol this drama is so obviously low budget, I'm confused what the point is. It doesn't improve on anything from the original.

I think people confused the promo vid from last year with the actual drama lol no he was never lined up for a cameo. he would've been credited if that was the cast. he does have a cameo in fox spirit matchmaker.

when were these set up? she's only 25 years old now and I read that these illegal activities started in 2017 when she was 19 years old. She's also a former child actress with parents handling her finances.. I wonder how much she knew about or how much was set up by her parents.
