Gong Ziyu in episode 3 is sooo badass compared to the first two episodes where he's kind of dumb/used as comedic effect. I need more Weishan/Ziyu interactions!!
also let me praise Linghe again for his acting because his gaze and micro expressions are so on point in this episode.
re-watching from the beginnning and omg.. the scene where Gong Ziyu is first introduced and he's standing in front of the window with the snow blowing in.. Zhang Linghe straight up looks like an anime character come to life. He is so pretty in that scene
ZLH is good at crying scenes. I noticed this when I watched LBFAD too. I think his acting is decent for someone who only debuted 3 years ago and had no pre-existing training. I think he was an ordinary engineering student before lol it's kind of random how he suddenly decided to go into acting.
I think if they're going to remake a classic drama, they should at least try to do it better lol this drama is so obviously low budget, I'm confused what the point is. It doesn't improve on anything from the original.
I don’t think there will be much promotion with what has happened.Zhang Ling He is having such a bad year😢
I think people confused the promo vid from last year with the actual drama lol no he was never lined up for a cameo. he would've been credited if that was the cast. he does have a cameo in fox spirit matchmaker.
The allegations are she has multiple shell companies to signed YinYang contracts and payments diverted to her…
when were these set up? she's only 25 years old now and I read that these illegal activities started in 2017 when she was 19 years old. She's also a former child actress with parents handling her finances.. I wonder how much she knew about or how much was set up by her parents.
What a mess for IQIYI and the director. This is the director's second drama in a row stuck in limbo because of legal issues surrounding the main lead. This was almost ready to air too. I think regardless of the result of Song's tax case, this will not air in the immediate future while investigations are ongoing.
Yang Mi finished her dubbing for this drama on the 12th. I hope with all the mess surrounding other IQIYI dramas, they'll consider moving up this one. I can't wait until CNY break :(
I've always wondered.. why don't production companies sell the rights to these BL dramas to overseas streaming sites? is there something preventing them from doing so? there's a large market for BL dramas overseas. It just seems dumb to sit on these dramas and accept the financial loss.
honestly the way this drama keeps getting dragged back and forth by melon accounts reminds me of the banned BL dramas. I think everyone looking forward to this drama should just ignore melon accounts from now on because it doesn't seem like any of them have any real information and are just using the drama for attention.
also let me praise Linghe again for his acting because his gaze and micro expressions are so on point in this episode.
