to me the end of ep20 is the most impactful and saddest so far, weird i guess. because there are tons of crying scenes but from the moment xiao yao and xuan talk about going back to xiyan with teary eyes 🥹 and xiaoyao saying, "cang xuan, let's go home together" i strongly felt something. probably got reminded how their story start in xiyan, how they got separated, and now going back together again and knowing how they ended it just...sad.

seeing a glimpse of what xuan went through just by the shove of his uncles and understanding why he is the person he is now, he choose the path of being stronger and ruthless to protect himself, things and persons that matter to him. that is what his grandfather taught him to, that he cant achieve that by kneeling (ep1)

i love the difference in these leads characters potraying real life of human growing up with the things they went through during childhood. some people managed to stay kind while others opt to become something else that are not so pleasant

they were cousin in the novel but they are not blood related in the drama. zhuan xu is the name he will use when he become emperor i believe. as for the trailer...i have been wondering too if it for censorship why not just keep it in the drama as well? why make it confusing for viewers so who knows? probably that scene really exist in the future ep

xiang liu is truly the saddest character if only he is not a demon, if only he knew how to love, the way he love her rn is like a little boy having crush on a girl; one moment they are nice then the next moment they are pulling prank on person they like (im not saying what he did to her is a simple prank) if only they are not meant to be enemy, if only he is not so loyal but that is probably his trait as a demon. my heart breaks for him and i just personally wish he has a better ending i know it is what he want but i guess im not seeing it as him being happy

i love who the endgame is bc to me jing is the person she need the most but my heart break for xiang liu, as for xuan...well he still my man but my heart is still yet to break for him 😂 my man has yet to suffer properly

well people dont like hidden love cast too at first when it was announced. they want tian xiwei and they dont think chen zheyuan fit duan jiaxu image so who knows, only time will tell. i personally think if the production and acting is good it will be well received bc this is a popular novel and manhua just like hidden love is.

but this drama rumoured cast truly has been going on since last year some viewers are bound to get tired seeing it 😂

it's from weibo but tbh zhai xiaowen is one of the early rumoured cast last year and in fact was rumoured for duan jiaxu too. i dont remember about zhang yuxi i just thought it was final bc there were already rumour they will start filming end of this year w these two but maybe indeed it wasnt final yet
