The money loving? I think it’s a bit of satire actually. She says she doesn’t like money because she has a…
Sigh. All the girls in the show seem to be ditzy when in love. Incredulous but I just dismiss it as fiction. At least she's smart in other areas so it's not off putting.
One thing I don't get though is how did she loose her memory just by being submerged in the water for some time?…
I didn't see it as a mere submersion. She jumped in and stayed for a while. She probably suffered a shock seeing her sister and because she stayed longer under water, her oxygen level could have been affected and impacted her brain.
Maybe it’s because I write and study storytelling but I don’t find the plot difficult. It just seems that…
I guess different viewers have different levels of comprehension skills. Before I watched the drama, I read the comments here about how confusing the plot is. But having watched it, I find it's easy to follow. Sure, there are gaps just as in any dramas but I don't see how difficult the plot is to follow. The hints are out there.
peng xiao ran responding to a comment that asked her why she lost her beauty after goodbye my princess and her…
She does look like she lost some weight in this drama and her smile is different from GMP. But she's still pretty. I thought it's good she looks different cos this role doesn't remind me of her role in GMP. I remember watching her in Mystic Nine and I could hardly recognize she was PXR. In that role, she was so beautiful and serious.
Can anyone tell me rating wise, how road home did? Is it good? Is it popular? What do the chinese viewers think…
It didn't fare too well on Douban, having just been rated at 6.0 by over 20K Chinese viewers. I was surprised. Usually the starting score would already determine if the show was well received. Seems a number of them dislike the ML's sour expression or the FL's silly smiles. Douban's reviewers are very critical but the scores are usually a good indication except with shows that feature idol actor/actresses. Usually those are unfairly rated if the army trolls swarm in to make their mark.
Personally, I rate this 10. I find it a beautiful drama but I'll admit I lost some interest in the last few episodes and wasn't too happy with the way they ended the drama.
This drama is a lot better than Royal rumours. Why is royal rumours rating better and why is it more popular?
Yeah, same question too. But seems more people are watching and reviewing this so the rating could be slightly lowered. It may rise again later. I like this drama better too. It's more fun to watch and certainly addictive. I think the 2 leads here are more interesting too and their chemistry is great.
I think YL's goal as new chief of Dragon Gang (Dragon Gang led by Shen were remnants of Tea Gang who'd turned…
I suppose he had no choice but he just lost points. I guess it's intentionally set up so we won't get the second lead syndrome. Well, at least for me cos I'd initially felt he was a good match with the FL too.
Initially, I didn't mind Yuan Lang. I thought he was kinda cute as a love rival but I now find him lacking integrity to deceive the FL in order to achieve his own goals.😑 👎
So now we know her twin sister died. However, there is a tiny part of me that thinks maybe she somehow survived.…
Yeah, I have that same niggling fear. Especially in one of the previews, the 2 fathers said the 2 girls have changed their identities to live a new life so I wonder. Hopefully I am wrong cos it would be too complicated particularly if that sister still has that kind of temper.
Makes me happy to rewatch the scenes in ep 17 where they show how rich JM is. This FL does not have fighting skills but she has the money and brains to make even more money. I likey!
I think the comedy effects are overdone. Sometimes their moves are over-the-top. I just bear it cos exaggeration…
Don't these directors watch dramas themselves? Haha...you're right...exaggeration to the point of madness! It's almost like the noodle dish that the ML made for the FL...not using a pinch of salt but a bowl! 😂
I also found an article that critiqued the drama and the main complain seems to be the poor choice of lighting. You probably can use a translator to read it here: https://k.sina.com.cn/article_5153427551_1332b105f00101cutd.html?from=ent&subch=film#/
