these people have obviously not seen the versatility of shs in acting.
The comments I've seen were criticizing JCW's acting, that he cannot match SHS's. Which is so incredulous for me. Obviously anti-fans cos they've never seen his range of work. He is about the only actor I've seen that looks so different for each role. Even in the same genre like action, Healer's SJH was distinct from K2's KJH. And how many can act and sing at the same time really?
THANK YOU! I’ve seen so many negative comments ALREADY! Its so sad, both SHS & JCW are very attractive talented…
It's so annoying! I mean here's a potential epic work but some people just wanna look for negatives to criticize. But look on the bright side: the bigger the star, the more the antis will oppose.
This is definitely a quality production. The story is intriguing and the cast is great. Love the chemistry between the guys. I'm onto ep 7 and can't wait to watch the rest. I used to be lukewarm about Song Wei Long but he is good in this one. His character is rather interesting. First time watching Jing Bo Ran though and he's not bad.
I hope they both accept! This pairing would be epic cos they are at the same level in terms of acting. Seriously pisses me when people criticizes the looks of SHS or that JCW is not her level.
Just read that Ji Chang Wook and ShinHye Sun are in talks to lead the JTBC drama 'Welcome to Samdalri' helmed by When The Camellia Blooms director & Go Back Couple/Hi Bye Mom writer. 🥳🥳🥳 I love Go Back Couple and Hi Hye Mom! Woohoo! 😍😍😍
I'm SO EXCITED because I love Shin Hye Sun and was wishing for this pairing!!! (In fact I was rooting for him to pair with her in her other drama See You in My 19th Life.)
Ji Chang Wook ranked amongst the most-paid Korean stars in 2023
Moonhwa Ilbo reporter Ahn Jin Yong recently released a video on his YouTube channel revealing the most-paid Korean star in 2023. The reporter mentioned actors such as Ji Chang Wook receive around 300 million KRW (~243,896 USD) per episode.
Reporter Ahn Jin Yong explained, "They receive a guarantee of more than 300 million KRW per episode for a TV drama." He added, "The licensing fees of one drama - based on a 16-episode drama - can reach close to 4.8 billion KRW (3.9 million USD) to 5 billion KRW (~4 million USD) (per country)."
This show has a lot of meaningful and inspirational conversation between the characters. Out of curiosity, what…
I like the one where ML and FL were talking about Fengyi's life. FL was lamenting that Fengyi has such a hard life but ML disagreed. I like how he said not to benchmark your life to others because there will always be others who live better or worse. Rather see if your current life is looking better compared to the past.
I struggled with the last 4 episodes due to the angst. I almost dropped it. But I finally finished and it was okay. But felt the ending wasn't satisfactory. It's a HE alright but somehow felt unfinished.
Dang it, Peter Ho! Did anyone see his character in Side Story of Fox Volant? UGH! I see he is a well-seasoned…
Haha...I wanted to write about him too! When Peter was younger, he used to act in romcoms or the likes and was quite likeable. But now, he's mostly playing villians. Yikes.
The last 4 episodes saved this drama for me for I was about to drop it. I love this storyline (season 1) because it reminds me of my own drinking days with 2 girlfriends. How Ji Yeon tried to flirt with Ji Gu's BF was so relatable because a similar thing happened with our trio. There is one particular girl who was almost like Ji Yeon except that Ji Yeon had better motives.
I still prefer season 1. The initial episodes of season 2 was tacky for me especially when they were up in the mountains but it got better. So I've upped my rating for this drama. But I consider the ending a meh though.
Just finished watching ep 21 raw and I have to come back and say, this is THE BEST DRAMA I've watched in recent years. The heartfelt dialogues are so well written and I'm so in awe of the screenwriters. They really know how to grab your heart with their choice of words! Of course the casts and the scenery help. And the BGM are very apt too. This is a TOP-CLASS production IMO!
For the first time, I wish there is a novel I can read.

I hope this is a confirmed casting! 🤞🤞🤞
