I think once they realized it was only memories of Fuyima that Ritsu fogot, he should have said something. He could have told him they were together and then slowly let him know what had happened with them. It was a horrible situation and I understand how Fuyima felt. He was guilty and still in love with Ritsu. It’s a no win situation, but the way Ritsu found out is bad.

Also, Ritsu seemed pretty interested in Fuyima on their weekend away and their interactions were more flirtatious than regular friends are normally. And in Fumiya’s defense at least the start, how could he just immediately unload all the info about their relationship and break up on Ritsu after the accident? That would be a huge amount to process while recovering. He definitely should have done it soon after, but it would have been a lot to deal with for Ritsu.
THE ONE BED PROBLEMThis is well directed and well acted, but something has driven me nuts from the get-go. There…
They do have a second bedroom, don’t they? Ritsu’s office is a separate room isn’t it? But I made the same point a couple of episodes ago. I thought Ritsu had to have some idea of their relationship being more based on the one bed and Fumiya offering to sleep on the sofa which implies they normally sleep together. I was surprised to see his shock when he saw the photo. I think it’s a plot weakness, but I don’t care because it’s so beautifully done in all other ways.
Honestly I believe Ritsu is in love with Fumiya, and still loves him despite seeing what he did. He is just in…
Beautifully put. It’s such a small, insular story but still powerful with their wonderful performances. I really want them to end up happy together, but don’t think they will.
I could totally see it being like "maybe I shouldn't fuck the guy currently holding my career in his hands" but…
Maybe he was disappointed that the chef guy was like “No I’m good” when he invited him. But then he goes up anyway. That whole thing wasn’t explained well at all. In the preview it looks like the next “ramen” invitation is the kind we’re going waiting for. Fingers crossed.
Lord, Won Tae Min and Cha Seo Won are hot and in totally different ways. I love that we’ve got two couples right off the bat and I love the half hour episodes. Can’t wait to find out what the history is between the second couple to have that intense dislike. Already getting some jealousy on Yoon Tae Join’s part with both of the other guys. Very nice start.
I guess he really meant for him to have some ramen…… that’s disappointing. They are men in their late 20’s after all. Why the shyness and hesitation? Also, is his restaurant just closed while he’s doing the special menu? I like it, but there just wasn’t enough development for only 2 more short episodes left. I guess we’ll end with a kiss which is not much for men of their age.
Yes, escalation in episode 4! I am falling in love with this show. Between this and A Shoulder to Cry On, I’m a happy lady. KBL’s are serving it lately.
Me too. I loved him as Katori in Takara & Amagi. Totally different character and look, but still loveable. Not drop dead gorgeous like here , but adorable.
I love the piano music at the end of the last scene. So sad. Just how I feel. I’m really hoping they can work it out and we get a happy ending for them. I don’t want to be sad.
Ritsu. It’s a no win situation, but the way Ritsu found out is bad.
