He actually said "wife", but translators now tend to censor this word to avoid international backlash haha
True. It just sets my teeth on edge. It’s also ridiculous that this is the typical dynamic in BL’s as if no other type of relationship exists in the gay community. Maybe they’ll let it go in the future and not have the stereotypes they’re perpetuating anymore.

Totally agree with you. They’re both terrible, but bottom is way worse. I’ve always hated the wife thing as it seems like it’s supposed to be demeaning.
So this storyline exists outside of the 2022 Love Mechanics world where Fuse and Ana already met and liked each other. So why is Ana already crushing on him? Just saw him on campus I guess?
King being the “fake” boyfriend in the office to deal with Krit has to be coming soon. Whatever happens with them, this show has to end with Uea cutting off his ties with his mother and step-molester. He also needs to be able to fend off unwanted attention from men on his own. They can’t show such horrendous abuse without having him take steps toward healing his trauma and defending himself.
Best part for me are the cinematic shots and that's it. The editing is choppy, there's absolute no direction to…
I agree about Jade. He is so annoying. I keep wondering what Tommy would have done with the role had he not pulled out. Tutor is a miss in this one for me.
Beautifully put. It’s such a small, insular story but still powerful with their wonderful performances. I really…
It would feel tragic, because we care about these two people and want them to be happy together. But the show has had such a melancholy feel all along. Even the happy memories they Fuyima has are bittersweet.
I think this is a fantastic story. It’s a quiet one that is all about their relationship and the performances…
I agree though Honda has been brilliant too. But Suzuki has been two totally different characters in this and Takara & Amagi. It’s remarkable how much he changed between the 2 roles.

I love a happy ending too, but the overall feel of this show has been sad for me. Nothing could be as sad and hopeless as EY was, except maybe for History:MODC though. Those were gut wrenching.
The focus on Fumiya can't communicate and it's all his fault is bugging me. The fight in the past shows that it's…
Part of their problem is that Fuyima seems to be the caretaker and Ritsu the more carefree one who’s taken care of. That’s certainly their dynamic after the accident but it seems like it was before too. Fuyima cooks for him and cares for him so he can focus on being an artist. Also, maybe Fuyima is just the one who is more in love. I’d like to see him articulate what he needs from Ritsu in the future if they’re going to stay together.
That was something the screenwriter and the directors probably overlooked. Even with the phone, Ritsu could easily…
That could explain why he wasn’t wondering about the one bed and their relationship at first. He is a go with the flow guy. I still think their weekend away together would have made him start to think about their connection.
