I think Riku is very handsome, but Yusei might be the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen, at least with the Kiyoi hairstyle. Strangely I don’t think the other hairstyles I’ve seen him with suit him as well.

I think it’s why we love these two train wrecks and are rooting for them to be happy together. That and the fact that they’re both gorgeous, lol.

In their own way they’re both weird and awkward with other people. Kiyoi just plays the social part better than Hira or gets away with the bare minimum because of his looks.

He’s an interesting character for sure. He definitely adds something to the show.

Agree! I think Kiyoi wanted to be idolized but only Hira’s devotion means anything to him. Hira feelings touch his heart in a way that no one else does. I think that’s why he’s alternately sweet and then mean to him. I think he’s actually frightened of the hold Hira has on him. And stupid Hira has NO idea of any of that.

There were a few comments about the resemblance to Ja at the time.

I’ve watched the first episode 3 times now and a few things stand out: Kiyoi’s bashfulness when he feels he’s revealed himself too much and he strikes out (his facial expressions are so cute), Hira’s absolute cluelessness about Kiyoi’s real feelings for him, and that they are both obsessed with each other. They are perfectly imperfect together. I hope they grow together.

Just going by just their looks, I think they should have switched their roles.

I think Yak is very funny. His facial expressions get me every time. It’s a small part, but he makes the most of it. He’s just the right amount of insufferable and crazy for me.

Anything g is possible at this point I guess. Whatever happens it was a strange way to deal with this couple.

Who knows? I watched one series that showed three couples on the ads and never did anything with one of the couples. It was very strange.

I’d think they’d want to build up some kind of a relationship for the audience to root for if they were going to have their own series. I’m not seeing anything with them.

Cherry Magic, Old Fashion Cupcake, Semantic Error, To My Star, Cherry Blossoms after Winter and I Told Sunset About You. And personally I love Takara Kun to Amagi Kun. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but it’s a comfort series for me.

I totally agree. If you look back at season 1 he has a lot of subtle expressions and actions, particularly in the way he protects Hira from the other bullies (like he wants to be the only one who bullies him) and how patient he is with Hira when he stutters.

It is one sided for many episodes. Gun starts to feel more for Tinn later on. You can see it with his jealousy and flirtatiousness. He loves to make Tinn flustered and lose his cool.

I don’t know for sure, but I doubt it. They don’t have enough scenes to even be considered a side couple at this point.
