The acting has been a level above with all the actors. I’m so impressed by Fourth given his young age. He’s a totally natural actor. And Earth/Mix have been a revelation. There’s a complexity to their relationship that I haven’t seen before with them.

And totally relatable and real. That’s why it’s so powerful.

That timeline really helped. Thanks so much. I’d think Praew is about 5 months because most women find out about 8 weeks plus the 3 months. Her baby bump makes sense for that timing.

I totally missed the JimBeam couple name! LOL. First is an i Incredible actor. He’s been so good in everything I’ve seen him in and with different roles in each show. So hoping they give us an Alan and Gaipa couple. They wouldn’t have cast Kao too if that wasn’t the plan. At least that’s what I’m hoping. The acting in this is so good. I’m really impressed with it so far.

I think Wen can’t afford to move out and Alan knows it. Maybe you’re right and there’s not a big event that caused the break up. Maybe Wen just fell out of love, but I think Alan knew they weren’t really still together even though they still live together. I think he just doesn’t accept the fact that Wen doesn’t love him anymore. I guess they’ll explain more in he next episode.

She’s looking pretty pregnant but we don’t know how far along she was when she found out. Also she’s so thin, she’s all baby bump.

How much time has passed in the show? Because Praew is looking pretty pregnant, so it’s got to be several months. Alan is so unlikeable now. Why can’t he move on? Why are they still living together? I wonder what the timeline of their break up is. Gaipa and his mom are so wonderful! Love seeing a supportive parent. Kao is too cute for them to not give him a love story. I think Gemini and Fourth are even better in this than MSP. I don’t know if they filmed this first or it’s the roles, but there’s an ease & immediate connection with them in this. I love how Li Ming is opening up Heart’s world. This show just hits home on all emotional levels. And the slow pace develops all the characters so well.

True, but that was during their love confession and he was desperate. I think in their day to day life he waits for Kiyoi to decide if and when it happens. It would be great if he can learn to ask for what he wants.

Maybe, but I like Tar and think he’s very good in the part and the dancing at the end is cute. I’m up to episode 8 and I think it’s starting for Noey, but Thi still seems scared of him. I don’t get how he can be falling for someone he’s scared of but I’m sticking with it.

I hear you! I gave up and am trying again. I’m on episode 4 and I’m not seeing any of the sweetness and fluff everybody’s talking about. Not sure I’ll be able to make it through the entire series.

So I guess my life now is just rewatching all the episodes over and over until the next one drops.

I loved when the episodes in season 1 switched to Kiyoi’s pov. The yin and yang of the two of them is so well done. I wish I could buy the physical books in English.

I just read the companion piece and I actually think they did a pretty good job of showing the heart of it. Their fascination with each other is so well done. Thanks so much for sharing it.

The scene in their high school uniforms in ep 2 is from Hira’s pov? I thought it was Kiyoi’s because he’s self narrating it and it’s about him wanting Hira to say he likes him. Or are you talking about another scene?

Couldn’t agree with you more. Let’s hope for the last 2 episodes to be more faithful to the book.

I’m sorry you didn’t like that series. I thought the send up if the tropes was very funny.
